Czesław Niemien (pronounced "Cheswav Nyemen") is among the best vocalists from Poland and considered a legend here, just like let's say Sinatra is in the States. His most famous song is "Dziwny jest ten świat" (literally meaning "Weird is this world"). I highly recommend listening to this one as his singing is even stronger there. :)
