Widzę że nie znasz prawdziwego Niemena. Dziwny jest ten swiat, owszem, ale posluchaj proszę "Cztery ściany swiata" Sopot live 1974 z genialnym perkusistą Piotrem Dziemskim, z którym Niemen przygotował wspaniałe projekty na przyszłość. Niestety Piotr zmarł w wieku 22 zaledwie lat w wyniku banalnego błędu chirurgicznego. I posłuchaj "Inside I'm dying" z Mahabishnu Orchestra i skrzypcami Urbaniaka. Eksplozja możliwości twórczych Niemena. Na marginesiex osobiście poznałem Niemena w 1968, ja skromny maturzysta, Czesław już wielka postać, przez wiele lat prowadziliśmy długie rozmowy. Niemen byl osobą niezwykle skromną, ciepłą i życzliwą.

Hi guys. I would like to clarify that a song has two parts: music and lyrics. Czeslaw Niemen's texts were his own poetry, but he also often sang poems by famous (at least in Poland) Polish poets. I think it is very difficult to judge the whole piece considering only a part of it. Especially in his works, the text was of great importance. (There's no sarcasm, no malice here)
Plz, do more Niemen!! He is a lot better in other songs- in fact he was a true genius.

I have known SBB for many years, their leader Jozek Skrzek has been my friend for a long time, they played in my student club in Bytom, once or twice with Niemen.
This song is Niemen's earlier song before he went progressive. The lyrics are a n old love poem of a Polish poet. He used to sing a lot of poetry, often his own.
If you like to look for another Polish singer, look for Seweryn Krajewski, he sang a lot of poetry and his compositions were very romantic and melodic.

Niemen, którego znałem osobiście, stworzył mnóstwo wielkich kompozycji, poza Dziwny jest ten swiat, niesamowite eksplozje formy muzycznej "Cztery strony świata"z Piotrem Dziemskim na bębnach, niesamowicie I kontrolującym reżimu całości, i "Inside I'm dying" z genialnymi skrzypcami Urbaniaka. A inne niemenowe zależą od nastroju chwili, czy to Jednego serca, Bema pamięci, Klęcząc przed tobą, Pod papugami, Wspomnienie, słowem dziesiątki wspaniałych utworów.

@@brunomacedo7836 When it comes to Niemen, don't listen to Google, listen to the Poles. "Wpomnienie" It comes from the album "Dziwny jest ten świat" ( Strange is this world ). Released in 1967. An interesting fact is that it was on the album by accident. Niemen was missing one piece for the album and he dug it out of the composer's (M. Sart) drawer in the belief that he would make a hit out of it. And he did. The first performer of this song put it completely. And the author of the text (J. Tuwim, Polish poet) did not like the idea of making a song out of his poem at all. He thought it was unnecessary. The date you write about probably refers to Niemen's concert at the Sopot festival (a very successful performance).
