You can drink Gatorade or propel, but they are full of sugar. I use herbalife CR7 hydrate. It has almost no sugar... less than 1g, I believe. Anyway, not trying to sell you... Just looking out for you. My hubs is about your age and size, and I worry about him working in the yard in this heat. I would love to go on this SS ride tour with you, but I don't have a SS .... YET! You impressed the dickens outta me with your ride. God speed, and good luck to you, Sir. ❤
wingsonmyback1 you would be just like a car... same rules apply as riding a bike in street. The cars could go around you, but you would have to remember not to lean into the left as they passed. Takes practice. Maybe use it on a walking/bike path til you're more comfortable with it. Just an idea. 😗
I wish you had more CZcams videos up about his tour and the guy working the camera seems pretty useless didn't even given much instruction until he finally said hey you want to tell me how to do this
It´s a good think that you can share the effort between legs and arms, but i woudn´t buy a mobile one, cos looks too unstable and imposible for big hills or mountains. Is complicated to direct the bike when your arms are moving, your butt will apreciate.
It's called the Street strider and it looks very cool but the reality is streets have cars whizzing by. And this thing is awful wide. Is it intended for use on streets with car traffic?
I'm buying one secondhand today. I'm 38 years old with 7 severely herniated cervical and lumbar discs. I'll keep you posted on how well I can physically cope with it. I know you posted this 4 years ago, but it looks like no one answered you yet. :)
I see you can only make wide turns. No good in the city. You would have to waste time packing it up and finding a safe place to ride every day. It would only be useful at home in that case.

How much strain on the abs is it? I have sore abs (when putting strain on them) from an old pulled muscles injury, probably scar tissue built up.
