Looks great! Going to try this plant-based as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and choline and lead in eggs. Thanks so much for sharing

I've been craving some kind of gluten free french toast, this is perfect.

Wonderful recipe! Can you make this from rice flour instead of prepared mochi? Thank you 😊

Paul, one of our subs, asked me the same question. So I might try making from mochiko, in the near future! Thanks for watching!

I finished all my mochi making your last video and I need to make more, but I wonder if this could be made with mochi flour? It might be easier to mix but I’m not sure how it will affect the texture. I might try tomorrow!

The idea behind this recipe is use up all the Kirimochi in my pantry. I will make it from mochiko, in the near future!

Two double yolk eggs! Must be good luck :) I'm curious if this could be baked in the oven, or if it needs to be stove top? Perhaps if I can find kirimochi I could give it a try. Are the kirimochi usually in the refrigerated section of the store or are they shelf-stable?

I think Kirimochi is in the Asian section of grocery store, not refredgerated. Hope you can find it! Yes, I keep cracking double egg yolk eggs. www

I think cooking in the oven makes it tough texture. But why not!

Can this be made without the eggs? Maybe flaxseed egg?

I have no idea! I am not vegan-savvy. But why don’t you give it a try? Let me know how it turns out!
