  • BEST board I've ever owned or seen! Hands down there isn't a board that comes close to this. The One80 Gladiator 3 dart board is simply the best board ever produced. Of course I still want to get my hands on the new Bulls Advantage 5.01

    Still liking my Gladiator 3 almost three years later. Recently got a Bull's Advantage 5.01 and have been shooting on it the last month. Fantastic Board as well and if last as long as the Gladiator 3 I will be extremely happy.

    Thanks for the great reviews. Im playing darts for 4 months now. My first cheap dartboard (from MC Dart Germany) is comleptely wasted now and I just ordered the One80 Gladiator as most of the people say, its the best atm. Hopefully mine will be as fine as yours :) Big up from Germany!

      How’s your One80 board?

  • @Verbalaesthet
    @Verbalaesthet Před 6 lety +4

    It seems to have a quality lying between the Blade5 and the Blade5 DualCore by Winmau from the looks of it. Definitely a better board than any of the Unicorn China crap you see on TV.

    Thank you very much for your review on the one80 Gladiator after a month of playing on it. They are selling for around £47.00 on Amazon. I am currently using the Mission Samurai11 which i find a really good dart board, which i find a really good quality board after a month of playing on it. Looks like i will try the one80 Gladiator111. Thanks all the way from Warrington in Cheshire, England !...

    Thank you for your review on the one80 Gladiator111. I have the one80 Gladiator111+ and it's a brilliant dart board. Before that i had the Mission Samurai11 which is also a brilliant dart board, but i found it much harder and louder than the one80 Gladiator111+. Would it be possible for you to do a review on the one80 Gladiator111+ please. I always enjoy your reviews and your honest opinion on these dart boards. What about Michael Smith winning the World Championship final and hitting a nine darter and against MVG too. Thumbs up to Michael Smith who only lives a few miles away from me in St Helens in the UK, i live in Warrington. One of the best finals i have ever watched. Thanks again for all your reviews and i hope yourself and family are all well !

    I love the firmness of this board. It sets it apart from all others for me. However have you noticed glue holding it all together? Mine every few darts one will come out with sticky glue even on the coloured sections that actually needs wiping off the point otherwise it stains the white sections

    I understand why the PDC uses unicorn boards for sponsorship reasons, and the massive quantity of boards they have to produce & give to the PDC for every single tournament, but I'd like to see one80 or another company step up to the plate and try and steal that sponsorship away when it comes up for renewal in 2019, because the eclipse HD2 is still worse than the blade 4 DC, let alone the glad 3.

    • @WorldwideDarts
      @WorldwideDarts  Před 8 lety +1

      I 100% agree. I'm sure you've seen the condition of those HD2 boards after only a best of 11. Shocking really. The only problem I see is that Unicorn is a major share holder of the PDC. They own a large chunk of it. So I really don't see anything changing to be fair. As long as you and me know, and the rest of the actual customers know that there are better boards to buy it's all we can do.

    • @Rehdman6444
      @Rehdman6444 Před 6 lety

      I would like to see someone take an anonymous survey among the PDC pro players to find out what board they use when practicing at home away from the iron fist of Unicorn. What do the "big boys" actually think? By the way, I have a 180 Gladiator II board and like it very much.

    • @qzer1rules2
      @qzer1rules2 Před 5 lety +2

      Please no.... If the PDC will use this board, the board it’s price will increase tremendously. Marketing and ‘sponsor-deals’ will ruin this board throughout the whole market. Look at the unicorn board it’s price compared by winmau bdo board lol. It’s all about the money. Hold this one under the radar please

      My first board was the Eclipse Pro 2 and after 2 months it's totally destroyed. The spider came out and the sisal too. Now iam using the winmau blade 5 dual core and after 1 month it's like new. Some little holes but iam very impressed of the quality. It was my first and my last unicorn board. My next board will be the gladiator 3+. Greetings from germany and good darts 😉.

    • @JDstar1708
      @JDstar1708 Před 8 lety +3

      Don't worry about hitting big numbers. Just focus on finding your throw and getting comfortable. Don't just practice trying to hit 180s, work on cover shots (t19/18/17) and all doubles.

    • @jesusofsuburbia8349

    • @AndyGait
      @AndyGait Před 6 lety

      Good advice. Split your practise between scoring and finishing. When I'm practising I play a lot of 201 or 170 as it gives scoring and finishing. Bob's 27 (google it) is also a great way to practise doubles. You can hit big scores all day long, but if you can't hit a double, you'll never win anything.

    Pls tell us what's the difference between having blunt or sharp pointed darts

    • @WorldwideDarts
      @WorldwideDarts  Před 5 lety

      Sharp point will bite into the metal spider and be prone to bounce out more often. They will also chew up the metal spider leaving marks in it. Also when sharp points enter the board instead of pushing the sisal out of the way it slices and dices the sisal and your dart board will wear out much sooner. I've been playing darts for a long time and have never sharpened my points in my life. I see much better performance from a rounded type point like the Target Storm point. This board you see here was just replaced last month. It lasted over 2 years! I threw a lot of darts at it too.
