I work with the public and I swear people are way angrier and more irritatable
I worked in retail for a good while but quit about mid-way through the pandemic. People got so much worse as soon as the lockdowns went in place. I can’t imagine how bad the public is now.

Ive felt this way sometimes. Perhaps it might be too much negative "energy" going around, i.e. watching too much politics or news channels that wont shut up about the next major conflict. I found that rebalancing can come from cutting that crap out of my daily feed, scaling back and focusing on what matters to me. My patience has increased significantly over the years. I hope Pippa finds her vibe again.
Been feeling this myself sometimes. She has it right; sometimes you gotta take a step back and ask yourself if this is who you want to be.
