Judging by Biggering and other scrapped demo songs, the initial Lorax was a very different movie. Ted's motivation wasn't getting the girl ("Cause all I've ever wanted in my life is the stuff that I don't have."), Thneedville itself was going to have some darker undertones and the Onceler was going to be responsible for his actions. But then higher-ups decided to make it more family-friendly and stuff. Bleh.

"how could we have known that [[KNOWN OUTCOME]] could have possibly happened?" * sweeping warnings under the rug *
It's meant to signify The Onceler's fall into cooperate greed. And his necessity to grow his business. True mate. They shoulda kept this song. As a representation of what'll happen if people continue in this path.
I will forever be so unbelievabley upset that this wasn't used in the final product because honestly, even though How Bad Can I Be was a really good and catchy song, I would've much preferred The Biggering as it's so much more accurate and impactful.. but i guess I somewhat understand why they took it out. Eh, still... Doesn't make it any less disappointing since if it was used, it'd have been the best villain song imo.
The song literally represents Illuminatiion, i dont really need to explain it, its like capitalism in the film industry, thats why they thought it wasnt a good a idea to use this masterpiece, *they were calling themselves out* or maybe the use of "idiot" would have removed the E rating.
To be honest here, i dont know why they didn't included “ Biggering ” from the Lorax Movie because it is said to be, “ Dark ”. Which is honestly dumb in my opinion since something like that is such a banger of a song. No hate towards it tho. Also yes, i agree with you at the end of the video.
It wasnt added because the bigger cooperation that owns the movie didn't allow the film makers to use it since it makes them look bad, the reason O'hare is allowed and not evil Onceler is because O'hare is cartoonishly evil while Onceler was realistically evil and apathetic

Yeah I agree with you it should’ve been kept into the movie. It would’ve been one the best animated villain songs of all time.
