Such a sweetheart! I hope she doesn't have to get bullied or thought of as dumb. She is beautiful!
so now I know why they had cameras at our school that day. that's awesome
Louis Bernard hey, have you met magie irl? I am curious about her progress with hearing
this is great! and she is really pretty
she is so pretty and she can talk better than any deaf person I've met or saw
wow its so funny, how much people that can hear take for granted, like if we turn on a fan we can hear the humming but to a deaf person they would die just to hear those sounds. I'm so happy that this girl can hear and experience the world of sounds!
Dying to hear sounds? Not really. It would be an experience to begin with but then we would gradually take sounds for granted just like anyone.
Congratulations Maggie. A whole new world is at your fingertips! 😊😊
She's so beautiful
I know I can watch their reactions but, I really wonder what goes thru a Deaf person's mind when they hear for the first time.
+Hannah Rose my girlfriend is deaf and I think they might get a little over overwhelmed at first !!
+Hannah Rose Those who haven't lost and regained something so important have trouble understanding what it feels like. I guess it would feel like finally waking up without that week long migrain and have to learn chinese.
.First it's a bit weird... Cause you don't really remember how everything sounds... But it's an amazing feeling to hear everything again& you appreciate it even more. But it sounds a bit different as when you hear normal..like if you're phoning someone.
Hannah Rose we have the same name :)
Hannah Rose they must be like "whaaaaaaaat"
Maggie is so beautiful like omg!!
Bless her she is an example to us all !!!
I`ll wager that she continues to amaze us all !
She is soo pretty and I love her she is awesome
Her brain must be rewiring itself like crazy to adapt to a whole new sensory input, and it would be very interesting to see brain scans of all the changes.
Michael Parker I wonder how she is doing too, the sad truth is that she may never fully adapt due to the age that she got the implant
if she had it when she has an infant 1-2 year of her life I believe she could have for sure adapted 100% to it
She can speak a really good amount for just hearing I'm impressed
maggie is such an inspirational young lady. I wish nothing but the best for her in the future. And with the help and support of her family she will be able to achieve anything she sets her mind to.

She so pretty
That made me cry
she doesn't look like the average person but she's still so cute...like a muffin😯
she realy butiful
What if there's an emergency and she calls the police? How is she supposed to tell them the emergency?
If u just call they come anyway
If nobody answers when the operator asks what the issue is or if she were to just hang up or something they automatically have to send a police to their house no matter what.
She is learning
theres a special phone for deaf people where theres a screen that you can type the message and it sends it to the person. Its sort of like she types it and an automated voice speaks to the other line and its really cool and theres some high tech hearing aids now that can actually do this through their mobile phones but its very costly so most deaf people do the screen version
Brooke Sheehan good question
There are ways to thanks to technology:

God bless her and thank God for healing her!
thank the doctors not God idiot
the doctors healed her. not god.
Jon Smith God helped the docters to be able to heal her
Reonus Feather that wasnt god, it was humanity getting smarter
thank the doctors, god had nothing to do with that
I was born deaf to so I know how it feel like
I don't know why, but Maggie reminds me of Shailene Woodley
I hope she can speak
why are there dislikes
I don't see why she won't be able to speak pretty well in a couple of years I mean it takes a while for babies to.
she is fabalas♥♥
my daugther has a cochlear
She looks like Kylie Jenner before she had lip injections 😳😻
Don't worry Maggie I have a hearing loss thing when I got my hearing aid everyone was making fun of me calling me a granny and I told the principle the people who said that got suspended
😍
Does she have a insta?
I am deaf and hearing
Can she understand words without sign language?
yes she can. she reads lips
Yes Sweetie please without reading lips?
will she learn to talk normally
I'm not just trying to be nice like seriously
