Interesting video Peter. I remember the 121 & 191 ran to Chingford Station many years ago. The 121 ran on the old RF buses till they were converted to double deck and the 191 on the old RT buses. My friend drives the W12 bus from Wanstead to Walthamstow. Started driving in 1989 for Eastern National City bus and stayed on the same routes whilst they changed companies. 35 years later he's still driving the buses!
@@AB-ii5pi No, the LT's are needed for the 259 from AR, my understanding is that approx 10 of the new Electroliners will move to E, these can be charged during the day and rotated with those on the 307, and be used only on the 307 or N279. Nothing official has been said yet, but that's my understanding at the moment
We have the same desination keypad. For some reason if you type in the three digit code it wont work. So you have to type the first number of the route and scroll down until you find whst you want. Seems a bit odd to me.
Roadworks in the area, total gridlock, if you go in to the bus station it takes ages to get out again. 221 also terminated at WN and possibly 329. Only during the day, back to normal each day around 8pm
No, but logically it will go back to how it was before with the night drivers signing on between 2000 and 2200 and taking some of the later day journeys on the 279 before doing the N279
This is content I like, something we don’t normally think about or get the opportunity to see and Peter brings it to us.
Thanks, I must make more effort to do more!
I agree
@@chandlerbstransport422 Thanks
Nice video Peter. Interesting to see the display for LED destinations
Thanks

Looks awesome. It’s quirks like this that keep you interested in the job ay! Nevermind the other bits!
Thanks, Lol
Nice video Peter! Good to see the N279 coming back to Enfield with more Electroliners and also the 279 route getting these electric buses.
Thanks
@@BristolREreckon it will happen on the 27th July when the N279 moves back to E? As the 259 is also moving to AR, EC will only have the 158 left.
@@AB-ii5pi Could be. The N279 drivers have been told 'sometime in August'
@@BristolRE oh ok, I think N279 is taking LT’s with it to E temporarily but is intended to also get electroliners like it’s daytime route.

Seems odd, maybe just set up differently?
Interesting that the 259 is there, perhaps the N279 will work the last few rounders of the 259 as they do currently?
I think originally there was a plan to bring the entire 259 to E, but that never happened
It’s so much easier nowadays 👌
Yes indeed
Nice video keep it up
Thanks
@@BristolRE you are welcome
Peater why is the 121 buses terminated at WoodGreen and not Turnpike Lane?

Does he know when the 64 electric buses will be starting to appear on the route???
Sorry, no
If the N279 moving to enfiled what will be the main fleet used on the route be

@@BristolREooooooooo. So there slowly being mixed in. Can post a pic of the new busses for the 279

Any updates on what will happen with the 279 rota when the N279 moves back in?

@@mohibj Same situation as now. Currently they do 259/N279
