It's week 13 in iRacing which always means complete chaos. I decided to dive in anyway for a GT3 race at Spa just to see what it's like. Here's what happened...

I remember watching over a year or so ago. It was like you had the worst luck and were struggling so bad. The hard work surely paid off as your driving skills have much improved. It really shows! Thanks for all you done for the Sim community
I really tried to get into IRacing and did pretty hard for about 6 months but the amount of rage it brings me is insane
I’m at the point where I cannot even tell if those are wills actual hands or if it’s in game hands. Insane rig! I did street stock in some oval for week 13 so I don’t mess up my promotion into class c 😂
🎉❤. I was trying to say hi to you. I wanted to slow down so I can have a battle with you. But I figured, “maybe he’ll put me on the video if I do something fun at the end 😂”.
T1 - stay as close to the white line and tune in later. Get on the throttle as smooth as you can and on edge of wheel spin when you are exiting the corner.

I’ve only done unranked this week, sure some funny stuff happening - but overall lots of fun. Especially Mugello with HPD is a good combo

27:28 It's a bit on the black car, but it's for sure a racing incident. If you're turning and breaking, you're going to start to tighten your line up. I'm betting the black car misjudged and wanted to slot in behind the Porsche but started the move too soon.

When you don't have anyone harrassing you at La Source stay wide a few meters longer, tight turn in, then you can straighten up sooner and get on the throttle earlier.

@@boostedmedia Ok how much you set on TD you keep the power at 100% so 32 or you have a lower value. On iracing do you replicate the exact value or do you keep yourself lower? For gt3 I saw an old video of you where for Ferrari you had on the pro 55 and the default to 50 I think. Sorry for the thousand questions but I would like to create a couple of profiles that go well with gt3 and a profile that goes well for gtp and cars with a greater pair of Nm. Thanks in advance if you will have a minute to answer

I am using week 13 to play AMS2 after its recent updates. I didn't licence progress, so no Super Formula. It will be another season of f3, which is okay by me. I just hope they schedule Interlagos!

Good race! Possible you were carrying too much fuel? Crew chief said you had half your fuel left next to the last lap.
Phenomenal racing as always! Did I see you start to fall into the mental trap of following Taylor's lines at about minute 15min your video? I hate it when that happens with me. I'm just not sure if someone of your level still falls into that from time to time. Thank you and Aloha!
The new Audi GT3 is a lot of fun . Very fast car and aggressive driving characteristics.
I really wish iracing would somehow come up with something besides cars launching in the air for connection issues. The worst is when it happens on lap one and you are 4 or 5 places behind. It's super distracting
3:52 It's at moments like this that I'm absolutely flabbergasted that iRacing get away with charging as much money as they do.

Cars disappearing/moving around due to lag in iracing after this long, for a not-so cheap service, is flat out absurd.

i went back on iracing yesterday after a month off . I was push out of the track in the second lap of my race ......

since you are pitted together with rookies who as an exception are allowed to drive their gt3s with rookie license its only natural that there will be carnage.
i even think allowing the ferrari 296 gt3 in license D is a bad idea, but thats just me.

I have a much lower irating than you but still find that the week 13 races really aren't as bad as people say especially up front

You gotta be more aggressive will! I’m all for clean racing, but you should have took this guy. He was obviously struggling. If you’re downshifting to 1st, you need to take that dudes cookies!!! Lol
I’m not sure more aggressive would have helped here. We were so evenly matched on pace over a lap.

As long as you stick to the UNRANKED races on week 13, and embrace the chaos, then it's a blast! It's supposed to be crazy and a chance to unwind and "relax" on your rig for a week. Tubeframe Twister and Figure 8 are always a blast.
