Tony is correct mate, cloverleaf after the pump on gravity systems is absolutely fine,

When you say you can’t use the Cloverleaf on gravity fed, I’m assuming they mean that you can’t gravity feed INTO the heater, because you can most certainly use them on a gravity fed filtration system by simply placing it after the pump.

That reminds me of the magnetic pumps that have no moving parts. Apart from the impeller. And when you took them Apart they were rusted inside.but that wasn't the problem it was hard water that was the problem. When you ask were the hard water areas are you got the reply all of the uk. So they were saling a pump that the guaranty was always now good.

Hi mate I use a number of places depending on who has what I want and how urgently I need them, if I need any urgently I go to CD Aquatics in Great Wyrley but their closed Wednesday and Thursday other than that Supreme Koi, Westcroft Koi, Shirley Aquatics or if I'm that way Queni Koi, I do recycle a lot of fittings waste not want not and all that. had the 3kw version and the same thing happened to me, (they would replace if within warranty and have receipt through the retaileryou bought it from) , but I demolished mine as well to see what was inside and rusty AS F
