I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.
Billy Preston's organ playing is very subtle but important to this live version.
Goodness knows how many times he has performed this yet he still does with such joy and enthusiasm! I love him so much!

I was in England in the winter of 68-69 and Eric was on top of the charts with Cream. As I recall the Blind Faith album had just come out. Here we are so many years later and Eric is still on top of the charts. A truly gifted artist! Fabulous!

I saw Clapton - front row seat in 1974 when he got off the junk. He has always been at the top of my list. He is truly gifted as we see here.

That’s how it’s done..love how Clapton changes it up when he’s live..sometimes a few of the words in the lyrics get changed and a lot of the guitar notes get added and improvised…that’s the way music should be played..every song doesn’t have to be played note for note all the time…👍

fingers will take you only hours of practice,.but the feeling of
blues music will take you years and even decades to get thru
it..blues is easy to play but it is hard to feel..its not how fast
your finger is,it is how you play the note..thats why eric clapton
is i think one of the best guitarist in the world.
