Just assembled engine and doing test runs with lowgayboost tune.
Some spec list:
- 1.8T 20v 058, AEB cylinder head, ADR block
- JE Pistons 302023 81.5mm, Cr 9.25:1, conrods FCP X-beam
- Kolbenschmidt Sputter conrod bearings
- ARP M11 head studs
- FCP Engineering valve springs and retainers
- Inconel exhaust valves Supertech AEVI-1103S STD
- Turbobandit TB60-03 Billet A/R 0.84 Twin Scroll turbocharger
- Precision PW46 wastegate + screamer pipe
- Custom exhaust manifold T3 twin scroll, 38mm runners
- ADR "J" camshafts, new INA lifters
- VEMS V3.3 ECU (firmware 1.2.43)

I cut it, because studs are too long... I was too lazy to find right size.. It had bolts in it, but previous owner over torqued them unfortunately..

That visor gauge is awesome!! What rpm doesn’t your boost kick in with that size turbo/manifold?
1 bar @ 4000rpm from 3th gear.

It's pretty hard for me to see your speedo cause it's so dark.. what rpm does it have a decent amount of power? With the 60mm I guess I'm wondering about... I have something like 30+psi at like 4200ish with somethin close to a 60mm. And then it slowly goes into the 40's. But at 4200rpms it feel like the majority of the powers there. I guess my question is with the twinscroll at what rpm does the powerband start?
On 3rd gear I have 1bar from 4100-4200rpm

I'm curious about that digital gauge on the dash by the door.
Is that oil pressure and temperature??
Because I saw a gauge like that on aliexpress but I'm not sure if it would actually function properly.
It's Autogauge oil pressure. Bought it for 40 euros on Estonian website. Shows correct numbers.

Which diff are you running? The - 01E CYT gearbox is from a 2.5TDI right?
Diff is from S4 B5. 2.5tdi A4 B5 has same diff. CYT is from C4 2.5TDI I5.

Custom. Tubular, twinscroll, 38mm runners & 76mm downpipe.
I have a 98 a4 aeb. What can I upgrade since ecu isnt tune-able?

How many kilometers you've made with this setup before it needed to open the motor again? Curious of the reliability
Still running same block. Only changed cylinder head once, because of faulty fcp valve springs. Currently made about 5k km with this setup. At the moment I'm parting this car out and gonna swap engine etc to A4 B7 chassis.
Center console looks like it's out of a post facelift car? Don't think the 96-97 had that cupholder

01E CYT transmission is in this video. Not much power here. Safe tune.

Hey, currently I'm using 01E CET, but in this video was 01E CYT. Unfortunately I broke it (1-2 gear shift collar). Now got it tuned without knock sensors, because they gave issues - 2,5bar, 16 deg spark angle and 8500rpm rev limiter on E100 ethanol fuel. 1300cc injectors are maxed out 111%, so can't add more boost. My goal is 600+hp, but probably next year with bigger injectors and dual pumps. At the moment it's 500+hp. It was tuned on the road, so unfortunately I don't have dyno numbers at the moment.

Hello, I have standalone ECU, not motronic. My tuner does not make remote tuning, especially with motronic..
Where is MAF? or you deleted it and tunned? because AEB does not have MAP sensor :D so im asking, I will buy ECU MASTER Classic to be able to tune it instead of mine M3.8.2, and also ecu master has built in MAP sensor...
I'm using VEMS ecu, which has built in MAP sensor.

Wideband, but car had shit tune at that moment.
@@A4B5Turbo how did you switch over to wideband? Is that just an option with VEMS and just run extra wideband wired in to VEMS? If so does that include switching sensors and pedals?

Just repaired this turbo by myself with repair kit and car is still running strong. Not planning to sell, unless I find TB70.

Maybe ~200kw with this tune. Haven't been on dyno yet. Engine is just assembled and ECU is not tuned yet. My plan is 600+hp and hopefully in June/July.. I will post videos when ready.
