Would it be worth filmmaking, shortfim shoot with canon sl2 with 24mm pancake (1kg) as compare to crane/ronin. Footage smoothness top priority rather than function. Thanks.

The G6 Plus is perfect for the hard to reach shots over the pool getting close to the spillways and the higher shots around the chandelier!

I would have never consider Feiyutech gimbal in the past. But like when you first started you’ve shared good inexpensive products for practical everyday usage.
Awesome review man! Do you think it'll be fine with A6300 and the 15-105? that one is quite a bit longer then the 10-18mm you tried out. worried about the balance.
You don't need extra weight as there is a option to correct the gimble to recognise go pro or light weights inside the app

Good review!! this answers some questions. There isn't much out there in between a wimpy small gimbals that barely handle a cell phone(with no case!), and the bigger models like the cranes. This is cool because it can handle a larger phone with case (I have an XS max) but also smaller mirror less cameras (I have an X-T20) ... at least I think it will from what I'm seeing here!?!? I bought a Crane Plus to make sure I can take care of my X-T20 and furture larger cameras, but I'd love to have a lighter option that can run it, and at the very least hold my large phone with case! ....I think I need this! trying to up my game on my flying channel! thanks again, well done review
YES! Same here for my a65/6400. Why do they have to be so massive??
A real world review. Thanks. It's odd that it didn't even like the smaller Sony RX camera, but it didn't mind you going over the stated payload limit of 800 grams with the Sony A7III plus lens and microphone.

Have you tried using the 1/4 20 thread next to the control wheel? A standard mount doesn't fit!

Its wireless but I couldn't get it to work at all.

Hey Chris, great video. I had a question regarding if the gimbal still fits in the case fine after being calibrated. Meaning, do you have to loosen any of the adjustments in order for it to fit properly, or can it retain those adjustments and fit fine? I ask because I have the Zhiyun Crane M and with it, I have to either reset the adjustments so it fits in the case, OR, not use the case. It makes it a bother to use and would prefer to just be able to store it in the case, pull it out, and not need to recalibrate it each time. Appreciate the additional insight. Thanks! :)

Thanks for this awesome video, I have learned so many things about cameras, lenses and this gimbal. I have just bought Sony Alpha a6000 and G6 Plus gimbal. Unfortunately I couldn't run video recording feature of gimbal with a6000. Can you explain how I can make gimbal buttons work with a6000's video mode? Thanks a lot!

im confused. The g6 plus says the max weight is 800g. but with that sony a7 ii and lens combination you exceed that. i totally want this gimbal now but will i mess it up with my own 830 g weight?
An extra 30g won't make any difference, especially if you balance it properly
Have you had a chance to compare to the Zhiyun Crane M2? Looking to decide between the two for someone just delving into video;looking for a compact small gimbal I can throw in a bag and go w my a6000
I heard the servo motors when you had the GoPro. Can you hear the servo motors when you use the onboard microphones with the cameras you used? Also, some say it's only 1 axis. Is this true? Thanks man.

I have this gimbal on order (now $137 US on ebay). I have a Canon M50 and love clogging with the Sigma 16mm 1.4 and Rode micro. Can not wait to see how it does. The body is a few oz's less than the Sony A7, so should be interesting. Have a big ole Moza Air now; my God that thing is BIG (probably headed for OfferUp)!
