EMT I have the Zhiyun Smooth 4. It’s ok but after numerous testing with moment lenses and ND filters, even with counter weights the Smooth powers down making the setup unusable! So I was initially looking at hiring a DJI Ronin-S for a future short film shoot with Beast Grip Pro and DOF MKII adapter. Would love to see you review this setup!
This review is overly positive. I bought this gimbal and it's impossible to balance it with my mirrorless camera (Fuji X-E3) w/o counterweight. Once balanced the 700g setup does not work that well, I think it's a bit too heavy and the gimbal's engines sometimes jam (which doesn't happen with the phone). Besides, the app is crappy - it takes like 30s to update config changes in the gimbal. So I'd say it's far from perfect.
I have the G6+ with a Canon sx740hs on a big sixrotor drone optimized to take the payload, but for ordinary photoshoot my Zhiyun smooth q2 and IPhone is a better solution. And I also have the Zhiyun smooth 4.

My favorite features of the G6Plus is for different gear,and it is the lightest gimbal for my mirrorless camera.

Would it be worth filmmaking, shortfim shoot with canon sl2 with 24mm pancake (1kg) as compare to crane/ronin. Footage smoothness top priority rather than function. Thanks.
Looks sweet. My two biggest issues with most mobile gimbals are 1) weak payload, and 2) motors getting in the shot with wide angle lenses. It looks like this gimbal solves both those issues. It’s definitely in a separate class compared to the other mobile gimbals you have reviewed. Unfortunately it’s also in a separate price category.

I'm just looking into gimbal's I watched this video @iU6w and it seems that weight is a very important to make them work as they should without over loading the motors which makes since . If something can be to heavy then can something be to light ? If you put a lighter weight phone on a gimbal that is made for a small cameras will you be able to balance it ? What are the weights that will work for the g6 plus ?
Can you use the gimbal with filmic pro? Or at least do you retain the gimbals functionality while filming in third-party apps like pro cam or filmic pro?
Will it be easy to balance iphone 11 pro max with moment lens and moment case on feiyu g6 plus? I'm looking up and down for a gimbal to balance what i mention easily. People mentioning that it is hard to balance the iphone 11 pro max with moment lens and moment case on crane m2.
How does the feiyutech g6 plus compare to dji osmo 3? I'm going to be shooting primarily on my iPhone, then a GoPro/action cam then to bigger cannon cameras as time goes on. Should I just get the DJI Oslo for now and get proper dedicated gimbals for the other cams as I move up to them or get the G6 that does it all at once?
I must admit though, if I can chest mount the DJI Osmo 3 and have my phone mounted for recording bike rides etc, I won't need any other camera. So, can I do this with the DJI?
Is it possible that the phone mount is not included in certain country? Because I ask every used item they said it was not included in the first place

Wish it was easier to calibrate the gimbal . I’m struggling with vibration and takes for ever to get it right ... Had it for 6 days and haven’t been able to use it due to vibration....

Glad you enjoyed the video! I actually did not experience any noise that could affect the audio on a regular environment. I remember the first Osmo and the motor sounds but so far everything has been very quiet and consistent. Hope this helps! Thanks for sharing your time with me! 🤘🏼

How about filmic app,,, This sounds like my next one. Just got Smooth 4 and learning that one.
Did you ever get this gimbal? I’m using the smooth 4 with my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Works great with the phone by itself, however once I try adding a case, filter mount, filter, it begins to weight the motors down. Can’t add any lenses whatsoever with filters before motors give out. The payload is too low, even though it works better than other gimbals I’ve tried with higher payloads.
What do you think of the zhiyun crane m2?

I’m editing some footage from the action and it looks amazing stabilization wise! Definitely an additional tool for me rather than a substitution but the G6 Plus is growing on my since it can rock all that payload! Thanks for sharing your time with me! 🤘🏼

Unfortunately it didn’t connect to my panasonic gx80, and it doesn’t support focus control for most mirrorless cameras. Besides this, nice gimbal.

Some of the yes but it depends on what you’re looking for. There is no wireless charging or inception mode but this could help those who want to use extra gear with their smartphones like lenses and microphones. Thanks for sharing your time with me!
It has been working with my Canon camera, but when I tried my phone it is vibrating! I am not sure what motor power level to set it on. How did you make it work?

You can rock moment lenses and cases up to 800 grams! Their app has object tracking as well. Hope this helps! 🤘🏼
Can’t use filmic pro with it unfortunately but I have the same set up and there’s no other gimbals for smartphones that can handle the size of an iPhone XS Max + Moment lenses which is ridiculous to me. I’ve tried them all. The only other one is the CraneM2 but it’s a major pain to balance. The Movi cinema robot is really heavy. That said, have you used this? Any issues to date? A lot of reviews on amazon say it stops functioning properly after a few months and the customer service is horrible
I have a pixel 4xl and moment lens and ND filter, I can't seem to balance with this gimbal, anyone know how?
@@pearrlynwang try to just get it balanced facing down, so it's parallel to the ground and then when you turn it on it will pop up into position... also when turning off, have your hand ready to catch the phone when it falls down. Lemme know if it works for you. It was the only gimbal that worked for my iPhone XS Max + Moment lenses. Gluck!
@@BrendanWhelan OMG, you mean that I don't have to make it balance itself facing upwards? I watched so many videos and everyone managed to balance it with the screen of the phone facing them and mine is rocking back and forth.

The gimbal will stabilize but their app will give you extra capabilities like tracking and time lapse modes to name a few.

I’d love to! I’ll try to get my hands on it soon but the G6 Plus is definitely a bit more robust on the payload and the integration of mirrorless cameras. 🤘🏼

G6 Plus supports 800g. As you can see in the video I actually use all those items or similar. The G6 Max has 1200g so it definitely supports more! Hope this helps! 🤘🏼

Nomad 24 the Max has a higher payload capacity so it depends on your needs. If more payload is what you’re looking for the id go G6 Max because the Vilta M Pro has 275g of payload capacity. Very capable though but it depends on your needs!
Will an iPhone X Max pair with the Gimbal?
Yes via their Vidcool app or the FeiyuOn app.
Is this waterproof ? Can we use under water ?
If i put 800 gm complete on it, Is it still work perfectly ??? Means if i load Nikon dlsr 3500 on it, will work .???
Not sure but I had a mic and lens on my XS Max and so far so good. This is meant for mirrorless cameras but I could see how depending on the lens it might work. They do have a larger capacity gimbals just in case!

Does this have the Inception mode?
As it turns out it doesn’t have a full inception like rotation but you can interact with the roll side by side with the slider in the back. Hope this helps! Thanks for sharing your time with me! 🤘🏼

Not directly like the Osmo Mobile 2 or Smooth 4 but you can still use it. The buttons on the gimbal won’t interact with the app but definitely doable if interacting with the screen. Hope this helps! 🤘🏼
