    How do they shoot compared to each other?

    Good vid bud. I really like the look and feel of the wilson grip. I'm going to get it for mine. Just subbed to support my fellow 2A brotha. Are you in NY or CA?

      Thank you for your comment. I do really like the feel of both, especially the palm swell of the Wilson Combat. I am located in NJ. This is my first Sig I’ve owned so I went with the build your own route.

    Does the new Icarus one feel cheap compared to the WC? I’ve already got the WC macro module and looking to buy the Icarus if it feels just as solid

      Like the “AIR” name suggests, it feels very light. It feels good in the hand, but the Wilson feels heftier and fills my hand well with the palm swells. I prefer the Wilson in feel, but prefer the Icarus with the ergonomics. The Icarus isn’t built cheap, but it feels light and thin in the hand. Compared to what it costs to customize a standard P365 grip module, $130 for a new design isn’t a bad price to try for yourself.

      I got the Icarus Precision airpolymer (xmacro), and after about 500 rounds, I can't really say I am a fan. The biggest thing I disliked is the beavertail. I have had multiple people try drawing with it vs the standard grip. Most have commented on the fact that the regular OEM grip is easier to draw. For some reason, the air polymers beavertail likes to get in the way. The other thing I dislike it the abrupt angles on the magwell. It makes concealing a little more of a pain, plus holster availability is mehh. I'll note that the OEM polymer is stiffer than the Airpolymer.

      Thanks for the comment. That’s the best part about this platform. You can change everything to your liking. I am a big fan of the thinner grips, but also like the feel of the Wilson. I will be building an Sig “43X” relatively soon with the Wilson Combat. Now that you mention it, the beaver tail is noticeably angled lower than the Wilson. I can see where than can be a problem for some.

    Sorry I can't take you seriously since neither of your grip modules have a mag release button installed. 🤨

      That’s ok, I’m waiting on my new release to arrive and took the old one out of the Icarus. I shelved the Wilson for the time being and removed that one as well. Still debating on keeping that module around.

      @@MorbisDraconis Some new mag release buttons don't include the tiny spring so removing the old button before the new one arrives you risk possibly losing that spring. I hope you ordered an extended mag release button? 👍🏽😁

      @@davidhudson2527 Thank you for the comment. I’m well aware of about the exclusion these companies partake in of not sending a complete set. I have my OEM parts ready when the new extension arrives.

      I was wondering how the fitment is with an extended mag release?

    • @MorbisDraconis
      @MorbisDraconis  Před 27 dny

      @@oddballgunman5288 I believe most of the extended mag releases will work just fine with either module. I have the Tyrant Designs mag release on the Icarus currently with no issues. The Align Tactical, which is offset, may be present an issue, but I have not personally tested it. I had that mag release on the Mischief Machine Commander which was the perfect combination.
