I'm definitely interested in the insert
I know one of the biggest gripes is about holster compatibility... With that said, CZ 75 and Shadow 2 style holsters fit this grip module extremely well and lock in. I also use a JM4 Tactical IWB magnetic holster that fits phenomenal. I just switched over from a Sharps Bro's aluminum grip module for the X/XL and the Air feel awesome! Still concealable even with the magwell. I definitely like the slim style grip for concealability. I've been concealing the Sharps fairly well, but I also have a belly that can hide it lol.
Received last week and married to my spectre compensated slide. This is an awesome combination. Became my new favorite EDC! Please get the aluminum version back in stock!
Awesome, thanks for the response! I love my P365 X macro tacops even better with your grip module installed. Thanks again!
I actually think this is really awesome but I think what you guys should do at Icarus is just straight up copy what's staccato does or some companies do where they have steel slide aluminum frame where the FCU is and then the grip itself make it out of plastic
I received my Air Polymer grip module for my X Macro and I have to say I’m super impressed with how great it makes the gun feel
I just ordered mine! Can't wait to see for myself.
How long did you need to wait for delivery?
@@xoan9426mine came in 7 days after I ordered it, but it tells you on the website that they ship every Tuesday. Considering I ordered mine on a Friday and got it the next Friday, I'd say pretty quick!
Why not make the magwell optional?
Definitely not big fan of the competition size Magwell.
Also not removable…
Yeah, it's way too big to carry. And it's so flared that if a mag gets stuck, you can't wrap your fingers around it to strip it.
I'm planning on sanding it down the second I unbox it.
@@SiCkL3r yup, you’d need aftermarket base pads in order to effectively run their grip module.
Bet you my left nut they’ll sell it to us suckers.
Magwell kinda kills it for me but I suppose it'd be easy enough to cut off. Might have to try one of these.
Are you guys planning to make a version of this without the egregiously oversized magwell?
Please make a grip module with 1911 grip angle for the Springfield Echelon
Are you planing on making a macro xl+ polymer?
Is holster fit the same as the aluminum modules?
The thumb ledge is only on 1 side for more holster compatibility. This module fits perfectly (locks in) in my CZ 75 holster. I haven't used they're aluminum grip modules, but I'm sure the fitment should be the same or similar to the XMacro if you already have a dedicated holster. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it should fit the Evo XL the same as well.
Can the manual safety notch be cut out later on the non safety version or is it too THICCC?
That is a very good question. For redundancy if you could contact info@icarusprecision.com , just so I don't forget and get distracted. As the module is polymer, modifying it could be very easy. Additionally, I would THINK that a small cut for the safety selector would be doable, but I do not know that it 100% would work. I'll try to check with our engineering team.
Why is the “back strap swell/Memory Bump” style swell missing?...
So they can release those a few months from now. They can't convince you to "upgrade" to that version if they release that version now. They've taken a page out of Sig's playbook 😂.
Did you not watch the video? He explained it
I purchased a 365 xl macro IP aluminum grip module. Would you guys know where to buy a holster?
Thanks
Heat gun and patience.
Shape shifter concealment or QVO tactical

Great review! Holsters???
There are so many holster manufacturers that it's very difficult to confirm which holster manufacturers will work natively. However there are several manufacturers available. Some include, but are not limited to, Superstition Concealment, Tacrig, and Havok Holsters. Hope that helps.
If you already have a CZ 75 or Shadow 2 holster, it will fit like a glove. I have 0 regrets in this purchase!
Will you guys be making polymer model for the XL model?
For clarification, which XL are you referring to? The AIR polymer Macro module is the XL length and will sit flush with either a Macro Slide, XL slide, or X slide plus a single port PMM compensator. If you're referring to the grip length, there is an effort underway currently to begin working on an Elite series module which would have the XL length grip. Hope that helps?
@@Icarus_Precision I was referring to the XL grip with a standard 3.1 slide length.
Price?
Do you make grips for a G17 gen 4
Im interested in making the gun a bit heavier with your proprietary weight insert but couldn't find it on the website do you have a part # or can tell me how to order it. Thank you in advance
This has not been released yet, but is in the works! Make sure to sign up for notifications so you're one of the first to know when they're ready to be purchased.
Ok thanks
So if price was not a factor which would you go with?
Do you mean between the polymer and aluminum modules? This is Dan, and I'm still very partial to the Evo module, and use an Evo XL as my EDC.
I wore out the aluminum xmacro grip module and now it is a wobbly mess. Didn’t last a full 6 months. I expected more from a $400 grip module. I’m changing course completely and buying a higher end gun for carry.
You wore out an aluminum grip module? How is that possible? Where you throwing the entire gun down range? Did you flip the gun around and beat the target with it. Pistol whipping the steel plates?
@@coreyjackson2241 nope, lots of shooting. Icarus sent me a replacement after evaluating it. I’m selling the brand new, unused replacement though because I don’t want the hassle of replacing it every 5 months in the future.
Coming for the xl?
This is in the works, yes!
@Icarus_Precision Will you eventually make them with the palm swell? That is definitely a selling point.
@@Flipout4Christhis
Where’s the Glock and Zev products???
No Ambi Gas pedals? Oofs
We've found that a lot of people don't prefer the ambidextrous thumb ledges, so this is the first module we're going to be offering left hand specific as opposed to right handed and ambi.
Don't get your hopes up it will be sold out like everything they offer
No kidding
No just 2-3 months waiting for it.. I got lost at 130$ even WC polygrips are not this much waste of $. I have had the AL modules and sold them away as holster options were impossible and ended up custom making my own. It still was not a much better grip than my WC that was 1/3 the price.. sorry Icarus. To long lead time for a “faster to user experience “ and way to expensive for polymer. And a weight that annoying will probably cost extra too.. no thanks. My macro with stipple work(done by me for free) is kickin butt on its own the 130$ for me will buy range time and hands on my pistol.
Still up for pre-order. I purchased the night it released and my status says it should be coming in tomorrow.
Any news on when the manual safety version will be shipping?
Correction: What you are known for is selling items that are never in stock or are 'Sold Out'. While your products may have some value to a few online 'influencers', to the rest of us, they're unobtainium. No thanks.
No one is forcing you to buy them. I own the polymer and aluminum module and they’re both great. Maybe hold off on airing your opinions on something you’ve never held in your hand.
@@coreyginsburg2272that's his entire point..
No replaceable backstrap though? The point of the alum one is the big ass palm swell.
I own one and I can honestly say. It is not worth it at all. These are wayyyyyy over priced and this commonly is trying to get rich with each one sold. For the price these crooks charge, you can buy another firearm.
Which one you have?
You gotta take into account the amount of money they spent on R&D to make sure they are quality what works what doesn't work I was on there Instagram live when they announced it and I asked a few questions and it makes sense why they are expensive they have to buy new machines do the R&D then buy more machines to be available to mass produce them not only that but they're made in amarica 🦅🦅
What are you talking about buy another gun? It's like 20 bucks more than a SIG OEM xmacro frame
Where can I get an M&P for 130 bucks?
@@lesliegee42069 I suspect he just clicked on an icarus video and left a comment without looking at the content 😂
