Vanessa really grilled Paul for 20 mins for his "nurturing" comment but crickets for Josh who bullied, physically intimidated and humiliated Marshall in front of his gf and friends.
Also, she had no smoke for the text messages between Jackie and her friends insinuating that Marshall was gay. Vanessa was obviously biased and she needs to go.
@@kylaj1085 Honestly Nick and Vanessa have always given me the ick, I don't think anyone watches the show for them. That being said - I think Lauren and Cameron should host. I feel like they can better relate to the contestants since they were in that position at one time.

As much as Irina comes off as wicked witch on this show I respect her for actually showing up to the reunion. Jackie on the other hand is irredeemable. A terrible person ,coward , mooch for keeping the ring by far her worst quality is her inability to see her own wrongdoing.
and the fact that jackie made it a point throughout the show that micah and irina were bad people just for her to be EVEN worse than them.

Vanessa being so baby obsessed was incredible uncomfortable. I understand asking as a blanket statement but to go couple by couple? Very insensitive to put it mildly
I was thinking the same thing, so unprofessional because 1.) it does put pressure on the couples to get pregnant and 2.) conception can be difficult, and the inability to conceive can feel very shameful (even though it shouldn't)
Seriously, what if one of the couples was struggling with infertility or something and she is pressuring them live to have a kid just so she could be an “auntie”🙄

Yall are having selective memory, when Marshall found out Josh only wanted Jackie he threw a fit and emotionally blackmaild them both, he shoulved him selve between them and Jackie saw that as love, where for me that is a sign of him having the maturity lever of a 5 y ord. I felt that Micah didn't own up to her actions, she was as much as a bully as Irina. The lack of empathy they had was astounding and triggering. Hope they learn from this experience.
Vanessa always sympathizes with people who don’t deserve it. She’s more worried about being ‘liked’ by the cool people.
Marshall deserves a huge apology, as do all the couples about the baby question. How do you know one of them didn’t miscarry two months ago? Or have been trying & it’s not happening.

Bliss ,and Zack single handled saved this reunion without them calling out people lie ,and publicity stunts, we would have gotten nothing they asked the importance follow ups ,and called out the bullshit in the way the hosts should have.

I felt like Marshall got so disrespected. Got me fuming. Hasn't this man gone through enough? Why not ask Jackie about her awful treatment of him? About calling him soft or "sweet"? Those are derogatory turms we actually heard her use. I was just flabbergasted at how after slighting him like that Vanessa had the audacity to keep grilling him the way she did. She was hostile towards him and Paul. Hated to see it.
They should have spent more time addressing Jackie's homophobia and Marshall's transphobia. Given current events those were clearly the two most important things to address - but one was glossed over and the other barely acknowledged

When it comes to Marshal, I don't know to feel about him. He's your typical angry Mr. Nice guy who simped super hard in the Pods but acted tough outside of there. Jackie chose him though.
It's so inappropriate in the year 2023 to pressures, and pry about people having a baby. So many woman miscarry, and we don't know if these couples are having fertility issues.
It also felt so insensitive to the past couples as well. I know that both the Hamiltons and the Barnetts have alluded to having fertility issues, and Vanessa has the nerve to go like "I'm counting on season 4 for the first LIB baby".
Completely agree. People would ask my husband and me about babies all the time while we struggled for years, and when we were lucky enough to get kids, people would then comment about how we had them late in our relationship, like f u you don't know what goes on in people's life and how there can be so many heartbreaks.
Especially because the couples this year are older!
Even if they aren't having problems with fertility, what business of it is Vanessa's??? What if they straight don't want kids??

They were pretty tough on Paul and challenging his answers a couple of times, yet for her when she said she would’ve said yes (which a lot of people seem skeptical about) they were so quick to believe her. They also challenged irina way more than they did Micah even though they did pretty much the same things.
@@alessandra00 I feel Micah got softballed because she was rejected at the altar, whereas Irina and Zack mutually broke up after she was unpleasant to him. I really wanted both of them to be asked about the bullying together, in particular about why they were constantly laughing at everybody else's pain and making a mockery of things the other contestants were taking super seriously.

Zack is damaged and has no class attacking a woman on the show. He’s biased and unable to intuit or interpret what he’s presented with. For instance that he chose Irina and cast Bliss aside. He’s lucky he got a second chance but she isn’t.

The couples could’ve just hosted the whole reunion by themselves instead. Vanessa was one sided when it comes to asking the questions that nobody asked for, she grilled questions to the wrong people in the cast, she never gave the same energy towards most of the cast (eg between Marshall and Jackie) and half of the time the casts had to always defend themselves or defend others, like Zack and Marshall, which brought us nothing.

i don't believe jackie when she says she broke up with marshall before getting together with josh because in the scene where they officially break up she says "i just saw josh" she's just saying it to save face and i'm so pissed vanessa didn't address this or ask about it at all
I think they met twice. One was filmed and the other wasn't. Production didn't want that to be a big gap in the story, so they made Jackie and Josh meet on camera. Does that make sense? 😁 Marshall confirmed it wasn't on the same day.

Yeah that did not make sense to me because she told him she met up with Josh and that he told her he wanted to be with her. She broke up with Marshall after she met with Josh. I really did not get that inconsistency. And people just accepted it. I was like "Huh???"

I found it SO inappropriate for Vanessa to be pestering the couples about babies like that. As someone that struggles severely with societal and family pressure to have kids, I hate it when people act like it's a checklist box in order to be happy, and you won't be if you don't have any. IT IS NEVER OK PERIOD TO ASK WHEN PEOPLE ARE HAVING KIDS

@@ashleycotterell5419 A stranger asking is indeed invasive, totally agree. But it's not that weird if say someone from your close family or loved ones asked that question. How is that inappropriate? And even if it is for you personally, you could probably just say "I'd prefer not to discuss it" or something along those lines.
And since this is a close family member or loved one were talking about and someone who genuinely cares about you and is interested in your life (as family and loved ones usually are, hence the question) I don't see that as being so awful. So yea, I just think it's odd to use the word NEVER like asking a fairly simple question out of genuine interest is somehow this horrible thing. It really says more about you than the other person that you would be so triggered by it.
@@wittysass3812 I think the general sentiment is just for people to finally stop acting like children is the main defining factor to finally make your marriage valid because those sort of questions still do get invasive even with family members and a 'I'd rather not say' isn't a guarantee to make them back off. I've seen many couples where each side of the in laws actually pressure one of them to divorce the other the moment they think they're either not having babies fast enough or may be infertile, regardless of the couple's actual thoughts and feelings in the matter not to mention infertility becoming real source of strain with in laws. End all be all, that info starts and stops with the people actually planning to have a child or not and whether they share that info or not should be voluntarily and not out of pestering from anyone. That comment may be hyperbolic but the sentiment's sound, we've grown past the need for having kids to be officially marked as a 'real family/marriage'.

I believe Zach when he said that Micah never intended to marry Paul. I’ve always wondered if she and Irina had a conversation about it in Mexico. Irina was too comfortable flirting with Paul and letting Micah know she was interested. Irina seemed genuinely confused and taken aback when Micah confronted her when they met for drinks.

did anyone pick up on vanessa asking tiff and brett if they consummated the marriage??? tiff looked mortified that they were introduced like that. THEN at the end vanessa pestered the cast for babies. that woman is off. not to mention her unfair treatment of paul by pressing the “nurturing” issue. it was clear that she was biased.
Cameron and Lauren from season one would make great hosts! They are unbiased, understand what the experience is like, and have really personable hosting personalities.

I think she told him but he wasn’t listening or taking her seriously. When she didn’t show up for the fitting is when he realized it’s over. She told him she wanted sex and he left for days, upset after she asked him to be more assertive. I don’t think they ever had sex afterwards.

The thing I'm most curious about is how Vanassa didn't understand what Paul said on how he didn't want to tell Micah to be more nurturing because he wants it to happen organically. I do agree with Paul that you shouldn't demand some characteristics from your partner because if they are the people pleaser type then there's potential of resenting you in the future. Jackie calling Marshall gay was considered nothing compared to Marshall saying Jackie had a strong jawline. Vanessa biased as fuck, Paul getting shit when Micah was flakey. Zack and Bliss made my heart smile, they were fair and honest no clout chasing there. Zack and Bliss make me want to believe healthy relationships are possible.
Irina is a narcissist ain’t no other way to peg it. I think she came on the reunion to do damage control. Her apology was so half baked. All I heard was M3NT4L !SSU3S. I seriously could not handle the hosting of this reunion. Obviously a lot of things needed to be addressed but I don't think it was done fairly or effectively, or to the right people, because a whole year has passed. I'm not going to lie I haven't totally loved Nick and Vanessa as hosts, and this reunion solidified that feeling for me (especially concerning Vanessa), I'd love for them to switch things up going forward but doubt they will. All of that aside, thanks for another great video and your coverage of this season!

This reunion made me appreciate Zack so much more. He’s a class act and a good friend. I think it was so nice that he stepped in when Vanessa was prodding Paul. I agree with Paul that Vanessa had a bias towards the girls. I think she took the “nurturing” comment personally but judging by Micah’s behavior, I’m not surprised that he said that. He probably meant he doesn’t see a good maturity level which is what I was saying all season in regards to Micah and probably made his question their future.
But I also don’t think he was very good or comfortable communicating to her and vice versa. The people who did get married had clearly been working on communication.
As far as Irina goes, I respect that she showed up. She wasn’t emotional at all. I believe zack when he said she was on the show for fame. I think she stayed as long as she did because she wanted the free trip to Mexico. But he’s a class act and handled that very well. You can tell he’s a good lawyer.
Then Jackie…. It’s easy to make assumptions and accusations when you know the other person isn’t gonna be there. I’m gonna say one good thing about her and that I think josh and her are a good match, but with that I think when Marshall said his strong jaw joke, she used it as her way out of that relationship. Because aside from that, what did Marshall do to deserve her treatment of him? She treated him like crap from the beginning, but I respect that he, like Zack, kept things classy. But at the end of the day, Jackie has shown who she really is not just on the show but off the show. She’s an internet troll, she’s toxic and she has some antiquated views on love. (Would highly recommend people watch the couples do the truth or drink because Chelsea mentions that Jackie said some bs about how kwame wanting to 50/50 on bills which is a fair thing to say and seeing where they are living I would go 50/50.)

It was very underwhelming reunion they need professional host hope Cameron, and Lauren are the host next season of love is blind they will be able to fully understand, and navigate the complex structural maze of finding love blind because they have been such a success story.
If Jackie and Marshall did end things before she went to lunch with Josh then why did Marshall still go to the suit fitting and have to be told by Brett that Jackie didn’t go dress shopping? Why did she tell Marshall during their last convo together on camera that she was just with Josh and going to explore things and see where it goes? Like it’s not adding up for me
This season SO many of the cast members went on podcasts, other youtube channels, etc. and DISHED more than we got in the reunion.

I felt so bad for Paul. Phrases can be taken out of context but you feel and believe them in the moment
It’s the company that Micah keeps that paints her in a negative light. First she was best buddies with Irina, and we saw what was of her character. Then we meet her best friend who was intentionally rude to Paul because she didn’t think Paul was “it”for her. I personally didn’t realize she liked Paul that much until the wedding and the reunion. I think even Paul is a little taken back and confused by her reaction. I think she Micah needs to be her authentic self, drop the “Mean Girl” persona and friends.
You should have kept count of how many times Vanessa said the word "baby"! Like Cinema Sins.

The whole baby line of questioning comes off not only as insensitive but also old fashioned. Assuming that kids are the next step for these couples is biased since some couples might choose not to start families, and that’s also a valid choice.
It seemed like Vanessa was being hardest on the single people and/ or those who chose to end the relationships. I think she was harder on Paul than Micah because Paul said “no” at the altar and Micah is implying that she would’ve said yes. Since Jackie ended up with Josh, and they can be counted as another couple that came from the LIB experiment, Vanessa went easier on them. It’s super annoying that the questions are so biased toward a “happy couple” result at the end rather than people’s behavior and treatment of others.

Vanessa was super annoying and did not ask anything we actually wanted to know. She didn’t confront any of the mean girl behavior. She talked over Nick and the cast numerous times. Not a fan. She seemed so out of touch from the normal viewer. Treating the cast like her little playthings for entertainment. I would love to see Lauren and Cameron be the new hosts they would have actual advice and understanding.

Yes shame on Netflix for the delays and inability to handle a live show. As always with these reality shows its the controversy that keeps the viewers watching and it seems the producers stirred things up in the editing, showing problems where none existed. Especially with Kuame and Chelsea, a couple who looked happy together at the reunion , ut I was fully expecting Kuame to say No at the altar. My favourite couple are Zack and Bliss. I'm so glad he contacted her after his disaster with Irina.Bliss is a beautiful person inside and out. Zack told it like it was at reunion and exposed Micah for being economical with the truth about her intentions with Paul re marriage. Both Micah and Irina came across in the series as 'mean girls', and Paul made the right decision saying No to her.
Amazing how Chelsed threw shade at Netflix for their poor editing trying to make her and Kwame a couple that was not gonna make it, and Vanessa Lachey quickly steered that to another question or subject.

I hate that I just don’t believe Micah. That stunt she pulled at the alter still confuses me. Like how is it decided who speaks first? Couldn’t she have asked the show or something to have Paul go first. Why phrase it as giving him the curtesy or something? It just came off as if she planned to say no but wanted him to say it first, so seeing her reacting w such sadness just feels odd.
Either way she was smart to realize it was only going to benefit her to force him to go first. Think about it, if she wanted him to go first because she was going to say no then he would look like the villain before she had a chance to. OR in the case that she was going to actually say yes for real then she could avoid the humiliation if he said no. At the end of the day her motivations don't really matter because it was a cowardly stunt of her to pull regardless

My husband's family is Greek Orthodox, so we were celebrating Easter this Sunday. I was kinda disappointed I was gonna miss the live airing. The One reunion where most of the cast has actually tried to stay clear from the past drama. Vanessa and Nick were trying hard to stir stuff up but the married couples barely let them.

I don’t believe Kwame. Maybe he and Chelsea are happy now, but Micah was his first choice in the pods. In the confessional, he basically said that Chelsea was fine but he wanted to propose to Micah, but he needed a little bit more validation from Micah before he would go through with the proposal. Instead of giving him that validation, Micah rejected Kwame. And then Kwame left awkwardly and cried. And no one asked him why he looked so uncomfortable at the wedding.
I never bought what to me seemed like a performance from him the whole time with Chelsea. Was definitely not expecting to see them together at the reunion, but still don't think it will last
Yes I really like Chelsea and she seems very composed and confident…but I think she is delusional. I don’t blame her she has good judgement but it’s hard to see what’s unfolding in front of you. I don’t mean that in a rude way and what do I know, I’m not them. But I just don’t see it. I feel like she is over compensating at times and carrying the relationship on her back.

Jack stays low class, it's obvious that he wanted the ring back because an ENGAGEMENT ring is a symbol of love - if someone is materialistic enough to not recognize that and keep the ring, that says something about them. The ONLY way Jackie could've proved she'd "grown" was if she gave the ring back. She and Josh seem like they match better, but she could've been kind to Marshall about it and apologetic for leading him on/what she said, she was awful to him and took no ownership. Makes me furious. But good riddance, never want to see her face again.
