- First we practice placing all our attention in the spine with nice even deep breaths. After Learning the Kriya breath add the Bliss technique and integrate it into this breathing method. I am so happy that you are doing this technique 1 kria perfectly performed equals one year of natural spiritual evolution. Paramahansa Yogananda speaks of this in the book autobiography of a yogi. And most importantly is the feeling of love. We are being carried up into the love of the Divine it's an expression of pure love.

I am glad to help you with that.
Dont try to say the word.The sound aaww, Awe, or haw is made naturally by the wind coming in on the inbreath, It is the natural sound of breathing in from high in the throat. We suggest to ourselves that we are breathing in through the nose and the mouth at the same time. And it doesn't matter whether we do it or not, but this intention just places the breath high in the throat, which creates that awe sound of the wind naturally. Relax and trust all is well, and your intention is all you need. It gets better as you practice ❤️ Much Love.

I'm sorry, i'm a little confused....are you supposed to hold your hand to your mouth (hollow tube) during the in/out breathing the whole 7 times? or is that just to give you the visualization of the spine being a hollow tube?
That breathing through the hand is just to create the visualization you want to have your attention on the spine breathing cool air and Divine Life Force down your spine and on the exhale the warm air coming up your spine is like the love that you have for all people going out into the world

I'm sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. The origin of the technique came from a deer spiritual teacher who told me he got it from Yogananda.
I thought it was the other way around - breathing INHALE is UP the spine and the reverse for exhale?
U r right.in KY breath movement is reversed.
Inhale cool air going down the spine exhale hot air coming up the spine and going out inhale love of God flowing into the body exhale my love for humanity flowing up and out
It is reversed.
This appears to be the breathing technique that SRF/YSS teaches as Kriya Yoga pranayam.
I can't say for sure because I'm not a member of that group. But my beloved teacher who gave it to me said he got it from Paramahansa Yogananda. The only thing that matters is if it works for you. People do it in different ways.

Curious about something. I've been doing this almost everyday recently as the 4th thing I do with my morning breath work. After 15 mins of Ujjayi breathing, Bhastrika, Om chants then this. Not sure if or how long we are supposed to hold the inhale. But, I've been enjoying holding because I get an intense body and head rush and it's especially strong when I hold the 1st inhale I can only hold maybe 5-10 seconds generally I've noticed my body slightly trembles. Yesterday not sure if I held it longer or not but I can't recall what happened when I "came back to" I was just sitting there in normal cross legged meditation posture and had not done the "heee" exhale. Today, I collapsed to the side and as far as I can tell I had a mini seizure, was on my side on the floor uncontrollably shaking in a fetus position I guess. Any thoughts please...? I'm not epileptic have recently had a brain MRI.
Sorry about the late response. Hope you are well. Doing kriya breath without holding it is good. Always know its super powerful, so... easy does it, study the effects and be moderate. This usually works. Ask source for guidance on the extreme effects.
Adding love when you bliss, loving up to the Source, saying I love you mentally with that big smile might be good to help you stay in your heart on the Earth. ❤️

Do you put the tongue at the roof of your mouth while exhaling too?
The tongue only comes up to the roof of the mouth after you inhale as a way of celebrating the Bliss which breathing in the love of God will give you. After you breathe in you celebrate this gift by smiling touching your tongue to the roof of your mouth and loving up. During the kriya breathing that is the only time the tongue touches the roof of the mouth. It does not touch the roof of the mouth on the inhale or the exhale. After the inhale when holding the breath and smiling and blissing up the tongue is on the roof of the mouth.

Maybe It is a little bit out of subject, but since I started meditating seriously and I became more conscious of my body and mind patterns, I became hypersensitive to many things.
So now my body doesn't accept any kind of food, only fruits/vegs, and rice and lentils. I also cannot eat garlic/ onions/ strong spices because It becomes really clear that It disturbs my consciousness and my well being.
Do you think this is just a phase, or I won't be able to eat anything else that what I just said for the rest of my life? 😅
I'm telling myself that those intolerances might be linked to the 3rd Chakra?

When you say dont do more than seven on the first week, you mean seven inhales seven exhales? Or seven times ( assuming each time you do seven of each) 🤔🤔

You could probably do 7 complete Kriyas inhale and exhale in the beginning then increase to 14 as you feel ready then go up to 21. Just study the effects and trust your intuition. Thank you for your great question. I had heard of the technique and wanted it I did not know where to find it. I searched for nine years and then one day I met a man at a martial arts workshop. I explained to him that I had been looking for the kriya and he said I know that technique and he showed it to me. Ask and it is given. Please know that if you use the technique it is very powerful and you will want to control your mind and watch the other videos on this channel to maintain a beautiful and peaceful loving connection to all people. I hope you enjoy it. This technique gives eternal youth and lots of energy and if you combine it with my bliss technique you can really supercharge your etheric body. That's why I teach loving kindness as a way of life to all who do this technique. Love and loving service will protect you from having too much energy
Can i do the kriya with only nose breathing ?
This technique is very precise in it's method and must be done according to the protocol. This is not o say that there aren't other breathing techniques that could be done with nose breathing, but this one is very specific and very powerful. Good luck and blessings to you. 1.41 breathing is not through nose but thru' mouth. Exhalation too. Is that right?
Through nose and mouth at the same time. Just by making the sound Haww on the inhale and Heee on the exhale handles it perfectly.
@@EZLivingSystems But Swami Nityananda Giri, who has written an authentic book , Kriya Yoga - The Science of Life says that breathing should be through nose.

Where you learn this pranayama technique?
I met a man who knew Yogananda. We were talking about it and he offered to teach it to me.
How much time holding the breath?
I have read that mouth breathing is bad for us? Is this mouth breathing or some thing else? Is this the kriya from paramhansa yogananda?

You be your own guru and decide for yourself what to do. I just do what GOD tells me to do.

7 repetitions a day for a week, yes?
That's a great place to start and then notice what happens and if you feel good and not too much energy coming in you can do an additional 7 breaths at another time each day, best on an empty stomach, sitting upright.
Thank you, thought so ;) I did this for 4 days now - first 2 days the energy was nice and comftarbly intense; and in the evening of the second day, felt a little anger come to rise. Im thinking its because the mind is starting cleanse itself and teaching me how to control emotions more intesly. 4th day, today is great, very pleasant :) Difference noticed and liked :) gonna keep it up. As the nerves in the spine awaken a little anger is normal, if the mind is involved re-frame the story with a question "Whats nice about today" or change the subject with a question like "Whats right about my life?"' and the mind will move off the point of Anger and be pleasantly distracted. Oh inhale ,hee exhale
The Sound Aww on the inhale makes it so that you are breathing in through your nose and your mouth at the same time although you needn't put a lot of attention on that, the sound heee on the exhale has you exhaling through your nose and mouth at the same time. That is the reason for the sounds just to create a dual breathing through the nose and the mouth without you having to think about it too much.

I'm afraid you're giving wrong information to people wanting to learn the technique. Imagine air going upwards when inhale, air going downwards when exhale is taught from everyone else.
I'm sure your way is right for you and all who do it that way. Each person must choose what works best for them. This is Kriya number 5 from Self Realization fellowship. I am aware of the other versions but this is the one my teacher gave me, and I love it.
@@EZLivingSystems it's not my way it's what in yoga sutra "Prāṇa vayu moves upwards from the Manipura chakra to Vishuddhi chakra during inhalation. During exhalation, apāna vayu moves down from Manipura to Mūlādhāra chakra". nowadays anyone can claim to be a guru try to teach whatever to gullible people. it can be harmful.
