Those are the biggest gills I ever seen!

They were all nice gills. The crappie were 10" for reference so most of these gills were at "trophy" size for Kentucky's ​Trophy Fish/Master Angler Award Program.
Have caught a few bigger ones there, which are even sillier looking. Like dinner plate with a tail and lips, lol.
