Literally just woke up to be greeted by this. Sweet.
Let’s attack when the humans can’t fight back. That’s so MOG!
Now I can only see giants calling the weak giants Mog giants instead of Betas
That is very MOG of you brother.
Nothing beats using your bard to crown of madness a frost, fire, or hill giant and send him against his brethren!
Duuuuuudes!
Perfect timing
Mott.
I want to make a frost giant who is just Arnold Schwarzenneger from Batman and Robin.
FREEEZE
*ICE TO MEET YOU!*
In what way?
Which Schwarzenegger? Conan Schwarzenegger? Terminator Schwarzenegger? Governor Schwarzenegger? What is his story arc?
As a person, Schwarzenegger the frost giant consistently works on improving himself. He trains his strength and faces terrible monsters, so that he can become known for his great strength and and amazing courage in battle.
As his popularity grows, other giants and warriors flock to him, forming a clan. Through example and through his great motivational speeches, he trains his warrior clan, and leads them to victory after victory in battle.
Eventually he settles down, and founds the frost giant city Coldflower (Coldifornia), where he becomes its very popular jarl (governor). All hail Jarl Schwarzenegger of Coldflower!
@@Ciofeyoh yes this is great
The demon lord Kostchtchie also tempts frost giants.
Ugg I don't like knowing that we are half way through S.Q.saga. I've been really enjoying tho and I'm always looking forward to the next episode. I need to know what happens next. Edit: obviously I don't want it to go on forever that wouldn't be nice for you guys, but I enjoy it so much I'll miss the characters when its done. You've done a good job making characters that I care about.
Loki is completely Mog!
Would little Maug be more of an insult?
This is awesome and very informative! One of my player's is a goliath barbarian hunting down frost giants and this is perfect for designing giant npc's!
Good job guys. The videos have gone a step above. Keep doing awesome work.
I have liked and commented! I continue to serve the chill dungeoncast!
I say screw the superbowl! This is the real show to be watching on sunday! And for the lords of knowledge and laughter I would toss down my weapons and wrestle any frost giant into submission! I'll conquer their jarls and become the jarl! Then with my new frost giant army I shall lead a crusade against evil in the good names of will and brian!
Ok so I agree they should have a weakness to fire. Its nonsensical for them not too, seriously that other type basically being part troll essentially has a double type weakness to fire! (In pokemon terms at least) he'd get fuckin destroyed!
Question, for the year of the giant do you guys think you'll cover titans? As far as I know they are higher in the ordining (sorry if I spelt that wrong) than storm giants.
If I can join in on the question of what fantasy race you guys would be I don't have a great idea for will but I imagine brian as a halfling, because I think in the halfling episode will said something about halflings being generally likeable and being able to fit into different soceities because of it.
I sort of get that vibe from Brian, like he's a happy go lucky halfling on a continuing adventure into the world of d&d as Will guides and teaches him like an elder elf lol.
For me I would be a dragon. I don't care if that's a normally playable race I'd be a dragon. They are intelligent free thinking beings so I'm counting them as a race, and no one can tell me otherwise because I'm a fucking dragon! Lmao. Probably silver given I don't think my personality would lend very well to the evil natures of the cromatics and I think I'm generally nice. Then again as you can probably tell from my long comments I like conversation, so maybe I'd be a brass or copper dragon. Which ever one it is that pins people down and makes them talk, I always get the two mixed up darn it.
I wonder what race others would say I'd be. That'd be interesting. Anyway that's all for this week's comment, have a good day all. :)
The AD&D DMG has rules for aging.
In my Kingmaker 2e campaign I was able to get a Frost Giant to switch sides I was only able to do this because I am playing as a Jadwiga winter witch who's great grandmother is Baba Yaga so now my party has a Frost Giant as a ally
My character was killed by a frost giant, still in my top 5 moments.
Later to the party but, how did it happen?
@@thezerowulf507 A band ofe Ice Giants were looking for the Ring of Frost and came to our party. My character started an argument with them and tried to kill their commander Drufi. She then grabbed my character by his skull and smashed him with her axe.
@@Dae-Dae97 outstanding. When flexing goes wrong
Been waiting for this video all day.
Frost Giants and Hill Giants are actually at war in my campaign so its nice to have gotten this!
And who's winning so far?
*_ICE_** TO MEET YOU!*
_A Truly Mott Comment_
Maug af
The "'what race" question is a simple one for me. Changeling is such a alien yet cool race.
Perfect Time! Just finished the new Netflix Series Ragnarök
Helpful way to remember the difference between Maug and Maat
"Maug is NOT Pog"
They're big and they can throw big things. Yeah getting hit by an ice boulder would hurt.
Most maug my man. Lol
Love the whole artic discussion. You nailed it bro.
Those extra heads on the everlasting one are freaky.
I wish there was such a thing as a war forged frost giant, even if it doesn't make any sense.
Love your guys' videos, been watching a bunch of them while prepping for my weekly sessions with the fam. One suggestion: When you guys get off topic, but then realize it and try to get back on topic, you may benefit from switching the conversation back to the topic at hand without acknowledging it (Without saying sorry, or "but we should be talking about X" or whatever. You guys get on tangents, and that's good, it's fun and informative, and shows your have a good chemistry. Those little moments where one of you is like "now we have to stop doing this and go back to the topic of the video" are fine, but I think you can find a smooth way to just bring it back around more casually. Much love, keep it cool.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I think it would be cool if Brian found something and taught Will about it, although I think it would have to be something that Brian would be interested in
Wasn't that the Demogorgon Episode?
I'm not sure as far as I know Brian hasn't done the teaching part yet
Ep.100
I was beaten to it but yeah episode 100 the demogorgon episode is exactly what you want.
Thanks
Gems are explicitly listed as currency. I'm sure there are plenty in banks.
Keeping it frosty I see
I actually had a magic user smashed by boulders on both sides by Stone Giants.
Petition to rename frost giants to Big Cold Bois
Please do a video on Kas
❤️
I liked just for the Triton
YA! DAS IZ MAHT!
Wu wow
it's not the arctic unless it has bears.
Oh so your awake then... you were trying to cross the tundra, walked right into that frost giant ambush! Same as that thief over there!
The people in this campaign talk weird...
I did not expect the skyrim reference when I began reading this. It caught me off guard lol.
I was just letting my group mess around as giants the one who chose frost killed 3 accent white dragons
Lol
Lol
I have Ben summoned!?
Hey I need to ask advise? I wanted make a character who has magic radiation to the is parasitic berserker.what race would work best for that style of character?
Ps:love yore videos💖
Gith
@@Cody-lc5ws thanks but isn't there two types of gith? Which one are you talking about.
Gith (doesn't matter what one really), lizard folk could be fun. It's up to you and how you want to play the character. I'd play around with it I'm my mind and find one I like. Hell a half-ork could work great for that.
Also if you corrected your spelling and grammar so more people can understand what your asking could help us understand what your asking. Not trying to be rude I'm just not sure what your trying to make. "To the is" is just a bit confusing
@@sagesattva9789 I'm sorry, my typing is not so good😅 I was trying to make a parasitic barbarian and I was looking for a race to fit that role.
Is apple sauce Mott?
INDEED
Frost giants are not really low intelligence creatures. They have an average Int of 9.
Frost giants are only very slightly dumber than humans, on average. On average. In a group of frost giants, the smartest giant might not be the leader, but they might advise, or come up with ideas, or counter-tactics against an annoying party of adventurers.
Ahh yeea. The best giants. Angry viking frost mother fuckers who only care about crushing their victims. They are the best villian giants to hunt and eliminate.
2800 lbs. is SO MUCH less than frost or any giants should wiegh... for context, a male orca (killer whale) can wiegh from 12,000 lbs. to 22,000 lbs. ... max length of an orca is 32 feet... of a frost giant is 20 ft. tall, even adjusting for possible differences is body composition and volume one would assume ANY humanoid made of flesh and bone standing 20 ft. tall would have to wieght AT LEAST something like 8000 lbs. or a lot more.... not no 2800... who fuckin writes the wieghts at D&D?
"Sweet, 45 minutes of frost giant lore!"
Nope, 20 minutes of ads and self promotion and what lore there was kept getting interrupted by "That's so not. No, mog. Wait no, it's bad."
Work on your quality of content gents.
