  • A day's wreck fishing in the North Sea off Shetland from "Merlin". We fished three wrecks between 10 and 20 miles east of Bressay, in depths of up to 72 fathoms (432ft = 131m). Species caught were Ling, Cod, Tusk and Saithe.

    OMG that was Awesome!!
How did your friend catch 2 fish at once? When that 1st huge fish got reeled in I involuntarily gasped. Those are big fish,by any standard.
Loved this! First time I got to ride a boat without getting seasick! I usually have to get in the water, which there would be a problem. I love the seals at the end!

    - Cracking day on the fish. Do you get many Torsk? I had an argument one day with a lad who was adamant they were just stumpy ling.haha. Nice vids. I do vids from down Cornwall - check them out if you get chance. 👍🏻🎣 Subbed.

Get a few of them on the deep wrecks and closer inshore over broken ground. Definitely a different species haha!
