  • An evening with Frank fishing the beautiful but slightly odd, intriguing and unusual Sea Loch Hellister. What a place and a geographical odd ball, but what an evening on the bait and metals. Hope your as surprised with this place as much as I am. Enjoy and thanks for watching

Great video. Took me back to my RAF posting to Saxa Vord, Unst. Three years of boat, shore and sea trout fishing. Steve S

@@GsTiteLines it reminds me of Mulroy Bay,in Donegal, although that is a "proper" lough,i.e,open to the sea.
The terrain and habitat are similar though.
Just goes to show, never right of a place on how it looks and with a bit of research,it could turn out to be a good mark.
Thanks for posting this video G. 🎣

@@johnpringle4759 can't recommend it highly enough, there are so many angling opportunities up there. All would say is the ferry isn't cheap and book well in advance to make sure you can get your truck on. Cheers G

About 100 meters to your left by the jewellers there is a channel coming from the sea that feeds the loch.

Ah thanks for that mate, it's a magnificent place and still has me wondering just how and why it's sea water. I'm back on the Island in May so I'm hoping to have a few more sessions on there. All the best and thanks G👍🎣
