Zeus betrayed Kratos after realising that Kratos is the marked warrior who’s destined to bring about the destruction of Olympus, after Deimos and Thanatos were killed. Kratos never expected the Gods to openly betray him because of his servitude and due to Zeus’ roles about Gods not waging war against each other. While Kratos did technically betray Poseidon by destroying Atlantis, the Gods are the ones who first wronged Kratos by kidnapping his brother and refusing to relieve Kratos from the nightmares of his past. It's not Hell, it's the Ancient Greek Underworld. It'd make sense if this was Tartarus, since Tartarus is pretty much Ancient Greek Hell, but the Underworld also contains Elysium, Ancient Greek Heaven, has numerous Rivers that have a unique aspect about them, as well as being personified by an actual minor god or goddess. The Underworld is mostly dark, smells funny, and is guarded by a huge three-headed dog with a snake for a tail to make sure you DO NOT escape, unless you are granted permission by Hades, and that VERY rarely happens. And fun fact, despite pop culture portraying Hades as a mustache-twirling supervillain, Hades in Greek Mythology is literally the most kind and neutral gods in the entire pantheon. He is FIERCELY loyal to his wife Persephone, and they have the healthiest relationship out of nearly everyone. Hell, just for his wife, he made sure one spot in the Underworld is filled with trees that grow beautiful crystals and ripe, bountiful food, and it was in his kingdom. He made sure that Persephone fulfills her promise to her mother that she would only be with him in the fall and winter season, even though there's nothing really stopping him from keeping her year-long. One story I really love, was when Heracles (aka Hercules) went down to the Underworld to meet Hades with a warm welcome, he wanted to bring his close friend King Admetus' wife back from the Underworld. Hades was so moved by the story Heracles told of how King Admetus and his wife met and fell in love, that Hades just straight up gave Admetus' wife to Heracles to return to his friend. Another thing is that Hades knows every soul that enters the Underworld, he would know when someone isn't dead. He doesn't look like a monster either, he was a normal and human looking as the other Gods and Titans, albeit with more of a somber and sad look to him. Not to mention, all the Gods and Titans were the same height, and were exactly human sized. Oh!! And Hades' main artifacts is a bi-dent, his Helmet of Invisibility, the cornucopia, a key to the Underworld, and of course, Cerberus. Sorry for the monolog, Hades is one of my most favorite characters in Greek mythology Lol

Didn’t expect Count Dooku to be Zeus too
Zeus: stabs kratos in the chest
Odin: stabs Thor in the chest
Zeus: it did not have to be this way
Odin: I did not want this
Kratos: dies
Thor: dies
I did not see that comparison.(surprised) 😮
Kratos: **comes back to life**
Thor: **just dies**
@@cosmogcrusader5546😂
Kratos: " I will sooner pray to Candice than any of the Gods!"
Zues:" Who's Candice?"
Kratos"not sure myself"
Kratos: "can deez nuts fit in yo- 2:46
@@thingy373 Kratos"shut up boi"!!!!!
He couldnt even kill kimself
Yeah, this dude gets angrier and angrier
Ikr
He was cursed by the gods,he can't kill himself,he can try infinite times to kill Himself and he will live always
Such a great game with a good ass story, all God of Wars
6:26-6:35 was cool
The music is badass
Why is everyone loading up old GOW games because GOW 4 came out??
yah
thats must be because some players didnt played the older ones ( gow3 was 8 years ago)
and now people want to see the old hisotry
old god of war games are still the best even tho god of war 4 came out :)
because the new gow its very easy and boring... this old ones are the good ones
They can just watch da intro of GOW3 to see da summary
Every time Kratos gets stabbed:
•GoW I: Gets stabbed by Ares
•GoW II: Gets stabbed by Zeus
•Gow III: Gets stabbed by *himself*
GOW 2018: Gets stabbed by Baldur!
And stabbed by a centaur in Ragnarok lol
god of war is like watching a series while playing at the same time
4:06 idk why i love this part of the soundtrack
Damn, when kratos was always angry, it’s just so amazing to see how he matured in god of war ps4, especially when teaching Atreus
This video brought me back to 10 years miss those days 💪🏼😯😢
3:34 the only thing that questions me is that, is zeus killing kratos men or his men
He killed the army and kratos so none can rebel against zeus and protect sparta
These aren't zeus's men, it's just a city Kratos decided to concur
Kratos is the best gaming character ever
1:23 that eagle turning into zeus, i saw a reference in GOW4
The REAL Kratos. Relentless.
#3:27 even the cycle didn't end in 2018 series.😎😂
God of war 2 title music still gives me chills. What a game.My mom used to say why you are mashing the buttons so fast i won't buy you a new controller if this one breaks.Good old times.
"You will pay for this Zeus. Be certain of that."
He was right.
Kratos is the literal embodiment of a man too angry to die.
This reminds me of Odin killing Thor in GOW ragnarok.
If only Thor could do what Kratos did a fight his way back.
@@hurricane7727 well debatable if thor would win , but having been betrayed in the worst possible way by Odin, he would give everything so it's highly likely
@@jimjim3979 When Odin Betrays Thor , Thor Similar to Kratos in Gow 2 was in a Very Weakened State and not at Full Power
I know almost every line of this marvelous scene. This game is outstanding
Well, I guess stabbing is just a minor inconvenience for Kratos now.
Kratos was like the ultimate employee...heal him and he gets the job done simple
I am litrelly cryin old days nothing can beat this it was best is best and will be the best .
This game was ahead of it’s time
This scene has so many memories for me😀
1:54 Will Not Let Ares Fate Be My Own
That vein on Kratos head, look more realistic than my hole existence.
1:28 You
If you played the other scenes before you would realize just how badly kratos needed to be humbled. The battle of Rhodes not only did sparta lose and get destroyed but Kratos their leader died what a humiliating loss.
Thr first Part of This Version of Kratos is Actually God of War Ghost of Sparta. In Gow Betrayal was the start of Kratos Attacking Cities
Kratos: "I WOULD RATHER DIE"
Death: ya say something?
One of the best games ever on ps2, the music itself is a master piece !! Great work
Kratos: “Freya. He chose this.”
Freya: “You will pay for this, Kratos. Be certain of that.”
I hope there would be a game like this today, epic story, epic music, epic all
There is it's called GOW WOOOSHHH
God of War Ragnarök?
Kratos: I regret many things. Killing you (Odin) will not be one of them.
Who never thought playing like this would be awesome?! Lol 2:49
Completely mortal and yet he survived that hand slamming down in him
Half mortal, he's the son of Zeus
Kratos never was a mortal , he was a Demi god since beginning.
0:15 Kiko kratos watch out!!!!!
This game sure does brings back memories
3:19
zeus: the cycle end here.
Kratos travel back from Norse mythology and use sisters of fate power to this scene
Kratos: Father I cause ragnarok and kill Odin 😂
