I’m convinced William is actually an industry pro with 15 years experience and he actually just hires his younger brother to do all his voice overs
That’s why he stopped streaming because his younger brother got too old
His 3D or general software skill doesn't surprise me at all for his age, since young ppl learn way faster too especially if they pick CG as their hobby over something like Fortnite, TikTok & Netflix, but his taste, art direction, composition and all that is what definitely surprises me, it's better even than most of those "Industry pro's" who has 15-30y experience and overall that is more important than knowledge of the software, you can teach Blender or Houdini anyone, but you would hardly teach anyone how to do good art. I mean even if William really would be Industry Pro with 15y+ experience I would still consider the work a bit higher level than expected.
@@ExacoMvm Great comment, I agree you can teach anyone how to use any 3D software but in this industry, creativity matters most
@@ExacoMvm I was gonna reply to you but then I read your bio and it felt like you already replied to me. The quote you have on your about section really spoke to me. I'm 20 and I regularly feel useless when I see people like this being so talented at doing something. I just wish that like I had any value yk. I do use Blender and I have made a couple little things in the past, which are on my page, but like I've never even dreamed of being able to make something as stunning as what William makes. Kane Pixels is another 16 year old artist who uses Blender and blew up on CZcams with his video series, which has landed him a film deal with a major movie studio A24. And I'm like damn, that's so impressive. So yeah, thanks.
There are people who work in industry for 10 years and don't get to this level of aesthetic ability. Really impressive stuff man, I will watch your career with great interest!
When I saw this I’m like “dang who made this!”. Then I see William landgren made this then I’m like “OF COURSE!😂”
Honestly amazing, so much effort goes into all of this! 👏👏
Super good Willie. Love the colors and comp of this one!
I wasn't sure if I was seeing thing or where the leaves really moving, glad to see that answered
CANT BELIEVE THIS IS FULL CG!!! MIND BLOWING PROJECT AS ALWAYS 🔥
I'm always impressed by his work, and he always back with a better work each time
looks cool making me want to start making stuff in blender again
Absolute unit you are!
Bro this is so inspiring 🐐
How is this guy 15 xD crazy talented! You're inspiring people double your age bro, Well done!
thank you william, very cool 👍
Very drippy clothing indeed
Awesome !
May I ask which addon or technique you use to map and position the decals textures directly on the viewport? it would be lifesaving for me! Amazing work, incredible.
Soo sickk!!!
Very cool! How do you do the decals in blender? Shrinkwrap?
Great work, you are really good in 3d. What are the specs of your PC?
Interesting!
amazing❤
making the wall yellow, I feel, made it a more exciting image.
Nice process, what was ur rending settings btw?
any reason you add decals as image planes (it looks like that at least) and not use it as mask to mix different materials? Is it faster?
much wow
不错哟
Can i ask how did you composite your computer?
I mean cpu, gpu..etc
I want to be like u!!
How are you going about making the clothes? Tutorial on that please!
just wondering, what pc do u use?
How much have you spent on addons and assets?
how did you manage to get assets from quixel? exporting megascans to other non native software like blender?
Theres a program called quixel bridge which allows you to import megascans to blender.
@@manesmurks subscription based or free?
@@enchihouse free
what software that you use for making 3d clothes
with a more realistic animation it could literally be passed for a real life video
Can you put the breakdown in normal speed on Patreon?
Hey William when next will you do your live stream again I am missing the vibe 😭😭😭
Hey man, I have a gtx 1050 ti computer. Does this affect the quality of final render?
your pc can't handle the scene. or would take forever to render. but the results would be the same.
It would work, your final render would just take longer. It might be a little bit laggy interacting with objects as well depending on the resolution of the displacement and how many faces you have in your scene.
Love your stuff. I would be careful, though using megascans and bridge stuff outside of Unreal Engine.
Quixel Bridge supports Blender, you can use Quixel Bridge with Blender since years ago, same with Quixel Mixer. The only "UE" specific feature is the free content to use inside UE with Epic Account partnership.
@@MattproThe so what is allowed to be used in blender exaxtly and what is not?
@@techsobserver You can use every single thing inside blender, the only difference is how you get it, if you want to use it with blender legally you have to pay for the assets, subscribe for the items, if you use them with Epic account+UE4 or 5 for example, you have everything for free for personal use.
best way to learn marvelous?
mmmmmm.... Cohesive
Just the two of us, yeah
I never knew you could make photo realistic renders in blender, how is this shit free to download and use 😭
The add ons cost money 💀💀
好耶!竟然做了中国的传统服装和场景,场景还挺中国的,不过感觉人物和服饰应该是选用了一些中国的传统元素设计和改良过
This is the reason I stopped learning and doing blender. With megascans almost anyone will be able to make this scene. Even the weathering effects are just drag and drop into the scene. In the near future a scene like this will be created by an AI in seconds.
There are different jobs in 3D and many of them are not about modelling or sculpting. For example - you will never ask even the best of cooking chefs to grow a cow for a stake. Or catch a fish etc. Some people are artists and their job or will is to deliver an idea. Some people making props, models, sscanss and textures manually and happy with that, some people use their work to combine it in a picture. You stopped learning blender not because of that. You just needed an excuse for not to study
wtf.... you stopped doing 3d bc of asset libraries? you know that time is money and that you don't get an good noodle star for doing everything by yourself? obviously i know how to make, rocks, bushes, trees, furniture, textures... but it would be unbelieveable stupid to reinvent the weel for every project. you invest your time for your hero asset (like the characters in this scene) but for setdressing and scatter assets just get the job done.
gotta say mate I have met many people with this point of view and everything has limits, AI can only work on what has been created before, blender is not creativity, it is tool to achieve such. If you rely too much on that kind of stuff and it faults, there is not much you can do. There is a reason you put in the hard yards before you learn the simple and quick method. Because when that method does not work, then you can always remember there is another tool box ready to be used. That is how I see it and I hope this can help you. Kind regards,
