You still have to fabricate the exhaust however my buddies in Ohio that are making my hybrid exhaust manifold ar working to create a jig in order to sell these made to order. Hopefully it's done in the next week or so
what if there was a cast exhaust manifold for this setup that bolted to OEM RX8 placement, then i think more of these builds would be viable since not many people are into fabrication of new parts. one thing is NA power, other is a roper turbo exhaust manifold for this setup, imagine a off the shelf bolt on option, now that would be amazing
Also i have an rx8 and i wanna track it what are best points to start with the will benefit me on the track this is gonna be a street/track build just keep that in mind
I love watching these videos and learning more about rotary engines! I'd like to hear more on the timing differences between housings and how that affects performance or what works best for the application if there is any noticeable differences
This is all very interesting but would love to see the results- dyno and driven of a hybrid turbo motor. Also using the older housings means only one oil injection port per housing so premixing is a must I guess.
Does using the high flow hybrid motor have a negative effect on fuel economy? Does it make a boosted engine more reliable and last longer than a boosted non hybrid?
When are you gonna post the car footage, I really want to hear it.
In NA form, this motor won't produce more power than a stock Renesis.

What we would enjoy much more is actually dropping that engine in a car and getting some numbers.
Can you run it on a standard rx8 ecu in an so we can see if if it is possible

What kind of power is produced NA vs Turbo?

Does the gsl-se rotor housing accept the rx8 oil injectors? And would i run into issues if i run the omp and the oil lines into the gsl-se housings
Can't wait to see a video with it running.

nice info,I like this hybrid
Is there any differrence when choosing between an s1 renesis or an s2 to build an hybrid
Would it be worth doing semi pp in a turbo setup of this motor?
Hey mate. Will the renisis brap without bridgeporting irons? Just using gsl-se housings?
