I love Luka, but i must admit that for what regards this oldie she's a bit too young and sweet still, she doesn't seem to have that anger in her yet which admitingly can wait too. ;) Otoh i doubt if Noemie would sing Romantic as good as Luka.

Very underrated.
Someone turned me on to this band about a year ago playing me the song Jackie Cane at a party/gig and since I have now got every album they have released,I cant believe I had not come across them before that but I bless that night I did.I now have to have a Hooverphonic fix at least every month playing every album more or less back to back really loud,just never get bored of them (don't know whether the neihbors agree with me like but who cares about them anyway)Such great songwriting and playing talent deserves to be heard loudly.Every home should have a guitar they say and every home should have at least one Hooverphonic album.Gotta go now,In the middle of a fix!
They are like me from Belgium and I knew some greatest hits like "Mad about you" but just I discover all their songs are very interesting because just like in classical there is a lot of care for timbres, colors and imagination. It just sounds fabulous with a headphone or with any speakers because it stays so transparent. Some people might perhaps finding it a bit dark and gloomy but there is already more than enough happy stuff to find.
