Excellent presentation! Good job thanks. I've got the green one to. I'm wondering if the hotspot is perfectly round on yours? In ultra low mode shining on a surface in can see mine a little out of round. The slight corona seems oval'ish. Just wondering it this is normal with these new optics or if my led isn't centered? Thanks again

Topreview! It gives so much insight. This L17 is a good light, perfect throw, not too small spot (seeing nothing) and wide (no distance).
Only that green color is not my thing. But there is white and red too.
The lense is a big innovation

Hello. Can you tell is that possible to put tail cap from L17 on L16????? Will it work on L16?
Sorry bro i domt have the L16. BUT i believe if the remote pressure switch that is compatible with L17 is also compatible with the L16, there is a big chance L17s tailcap will work on L16s. but L18s will not work on L17 for sure i tried it.

How is the l17 throw compared to you're X9L?
If its the green L17 it throws farther than the X9L. X9L is rated 800+ meters thrower. Also their beam profile or appearance is different too. The X9L have more usable beam appearance because its wide while the L17 is more on the thin beam side. But good enough compare to other tactical throwers.

can we see toward this light, I mean can we use this self defence weapon so that no one can move toward us.
I see some dazzler laser with wide beam like this flashlight, but they are too much expensive; about $500.
We certainly would not be able to see things normaly if our eyes were struck by this light. Disgregarding the green color, this is still 2000 lumens that have the characteristics of a normal light wave that has short wavelengths in it. Short wave lengths are those which makes oue eyes glare. And that should probably be present on this flashlight too. But ofcourse this was made to illuminate not really to stun a wild beast. it would require practice to blind animals temporarily using this. They are moving and you need to be able to hit their eyes using your flashlight.
Lasers are only effective if you strike the eye not just for second. And its gonna be hard to tRget a moving animal.
