    Hey man, are these hard to get to? I'm thinking about fixing one that doesn't start up, I guess the mechanic said to change the reeds.
    Just trying to see how hard it will be. It's a 2001 Yamaha XL800

      Gotta remove the carbs and they're right there. Can do it probably in 3 hours or so if you've never laid eyes on them.

      Spoiler here... But she is running. Went on a few tips this week. Haven't gotten it all edited yet.

      Boyesen has them on their site. Google Carbon Tech reeds and they will come up. 👍
