  • If you are planning to move to Spain... the Non-Lucrative residency visa will for sure be one of your preferred options. This residence permit allows you to live in Spain for one year (with the possibility to renew), without working.
    One of its main advantages is its easiness when it comes to application requirements: you just need to demonstrate the possession of 26.000€ in your bank account and have private health insurance, and the visa is yours!
    For whom is the non-lucrative residency visa ideal?
    -For those who want to retire in Spain, hence its second name "retirement visa"
    -For remote workers who would like to establish in the Spanish territory
    -For any individual who wants to live in Spain for one year without working, but then moving to a work permit
    For more info about this visa, you can read our full guide:

    Two questions: 1. The not lucrative visa requires to stay minimum 180 days per year in Spain. What happens if one needs to care for a family member and has to stay longer than 180 days outside of Spain? will the visa be cancelled and need to reapply with all the paperwork and legal costs allover again? 2. If after 5 years of non-lucrative visa I obtain Spanish residency, will I become a taxed subject for capital gains, worldwide income or wealth tax?

    Good day, Counselor. My wife and I are preparing to retire to Spain from the United States. We will have around 28,000 Euros annually in pensions, and an additional 18,600 Euros per year from a trust. We have two questions: 1) Is our income sufficient to qualify for the non-lucrative visa; and, 2) Where do we find the necessary health insurance in Spain?

    I have enough to retire my whole life in Spain, is it easy to re-new every year and just live in Spain? Why would I have health insurance in the US if I am moving to Spain to be covered in Spain, then how do I get Spanish Health insurance? Also, can I buy a property in Spain before getting the non-lucrative visa? Does this help me, or should I buy after? I have so many questions..

    Excellent Video and content. I am a US citizen wanting to apply for NL Visa. Prrof of funds, health, criminal record etc no problem. Myself, my wife and 36 year old son all want to move under NLV. Question- 1. How much is your fees for processing the 3 applications- Total cost including translations of document, and any assistance through applying for residency card after arrival so no surprises on fees.. 2. with a NLV can i move around all of the EU countries freely during the 1 year NL Visa period. 3. My main goal for applying NL Visa is to travel around all EU countries for pleasure tourism and does the NLVisa allow that during the entire year. 4. I can come under a Schengen visa and that allows 90 days in a 180 day period and is not convenienent. 5. Ae the rules you explained still the same and currentl. 6. The proof of finance i show do i have to move to a spanish bank or canb itg stay in USA. Your response will be greatly appreciaterd. Mucho Gracias.

    Wow they double the monies needed can see a lot of people won’t be moving there now How many people spend that amount of money per year just in normal living even if you only just need it in a bank account it’s just to stop people leaving after the uk brexit I think was no where near that figure before

    • @StOrMmaGiiKz
      @StOrMmaGiiKz Před 3 lety

      @Silver Rain
      Before the uk left Europe you only needed to prove 700 euros per month now you have to have 2300 euros plus any dependents each a further 600 euros
      And as I’ve got to understand and it’s a rolling figure meaning you can’t just have that amount in account each year they want to see that that amount in your bank account constantly each year so 25000 then 50000
      75000 etc for 5 years then your allowed I think the minimum 700 as all the other residents to show you won’t be dependent on the country
      So you have to factor in possibly 150k you need to save over 5 years if your planning on moving to Spain before you even bought a property if your non Eu

      Not for a non lucrative visa the figure dose not drop to 700 euros after the first year I know you have prove 27000 euros per year in a bank Acoutant for a certain amount of years you have to have that amount available at all times then the next year you have add the same amount as I’m aware I think it takes 5 years to get full residency then the figure drops to the minimum of around 700 euros
      But if your looking to work there will be different criteria so contact the Spanish embassy or look on CZcams there lots of info on the different visa requirements
