I found a golf club made of wood, I had a good friend that played golf so I just gave it to him, I think it was $1.99 but 50% off! If it was worth anything as an antique that would have been fine, but I doubt that he would ever part with it.
We found a pair of Banana Republic trouser cut jeans for my daughter for $6 that looked brand new. I looked them up and they were $100+ new from the store. Three of my daughters wore those jeans before they were worn out. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth from that pair of jeans! 😃
My very best ever thrift store find was pre-Covid when I found a pair of Gorham Chantilly Duchess 3 light sterling silver candelabras several years ago. They were solid black with tarnish. I turned one over looking for the maker’s mark. I rubbed the center of the base with my thumb. That was when I saw the Gorham name and sterling on each of them. I paid a grand total of $6.00 for the pair. Came home and looked them up online. They were worth $1100.00 at the time. I polished them up and still have them and use them in my home. You can bet that I look at every piece of anything that remotely looks like silver now.

Twice I've found brand-new 'My Brest Friend' nursing pillows for $5 each.
I about died when I saw you grab the Stiffel lamps and talk about changing them. Then I kept watching and breathed a sigh of relief when you realized how much they were worth! Nice find!!!

I was glad I caught that too. I would’ve died when people told me in the comments that I had just destroyed valuable lamps.😅

ABSOLUTELY agree with your decision to leave those lamps AS IS! my Mom had a few pairs of Stiffel lamps when I was growing up. Source it another lamp shade and sell them! Start a new crafting bank account or buy a new set of tires for your Escalade!😁
I was so surprised when you found the stiffel lamps!! Believe it or not, I own two of them too! They were inherited. I love them!
I cannot believe how packed with “stuff” that thrift store is! I live near Dallas, Tx and I have never seen a thrift store so packed with quality looking items. I might have to head to Florida to thrift! 😂
There are consignment shops that are giving away estate furniture. Tampa Bay by the beach ❤
They r packed with stuff because they are too expensive!
I live in Richardson and I agree. Our thrift stores are terrible here. I did go to Cleburne last month and found some good stuff at the antique stores there and Burleson. I won’t ever give my donations to Goodwill again. At one store they have you load up your donations in a semi truck to take somewhere else.
San Antonio thrift stores are full of outdated frames, misc. Dishes and mugs -- nothing like these DIY ladies find.

The 2 lamps are beautiful and expensive . I have the hanging Lamp and love the style. The same color and they are very expensive even today. I inherited mine from my Mother in Law...40 years ago.

Natalee, I watched the video regarding your TikTok purchases. I ordered 4 of the tulips and 2 brass candle sticks. I put 2 bunches of tulips in a Fostoria Americana cylinder vase. Then put white candles in the holders. I placed them on an entryway table under a soft gold oval ornate mirror and with a soft gold lamp. It looks absolutely amazing. Even my husband was impressed. I ordered some battery operated candles for my lanterns. They didn’t have the package of 5 so they sent me a larger package of 9. Looks great, too. Thanks for sharing this with me.

Loved the 3 minute challenge...my best thrift store find were 3 small Waterford crystal candy bowls...$5 for all...I love them. I'm so glad you realized the stiffel brand lamps value and didn't alter them...they are classics.

I was screaming “those are stiffel lamps!! Grab them, but don’t redo them!” I have two stiffel lamps from my great aunt. Most likely from the early 1900’s. Same gold and white colors. I’ve changed the shades thru the years and still have them. They’re beautiful and I love them.

I need to get back to hitting the thrift stores again. I've gotten a few nice things in the past and I love vintage tea cups & saucers. Thanks for sharing your makeover of the lanterns towards the end. I have white ones from Ikea that I can spray paint black and adhere the vinyl decal - great dupe! I almost donated them to Goodwill and now I can breathe new life into them.

As far as the outdoor mulched area, I'd clear out the old material & replace with stone. And a Solar fountain planter maybe two..

Take your shade and go to an antique store.And you might be able to find one because the antique stores have so shades sometimes and you can get a new shade
