I can't get enough of the way his comedy goes. It's like he doesn't have a routine, he just goes up on stage and talks to everyone
It’s hard to know for sure what is and what isn’t pre-written with certain comedians. And I think that’s part of the magic of comedians and especially the ones who are *that* brilliant, like Dave.
But with Dave you literally never know. I’m not a comedian or writer or anything like that so forgive me if I’m talking out of turn here but I have seen so many videos and written interviews about Dave and so many of them always talk about how he’ll go out on stage and just “go for it,” so to speak.
Not sure if I phrased that right but long story short, Dave is one of the best who’s ever done it.
I believe it was John Mayer who said something along the lines of “Like a great musician, Dave will go up there and just riff. And it’s always brilliant.” (Paraphrasing)

Sure Dave Chapelle is good at handling hecklers and random things in his audience. But you can see, when he does that, that those jokes are nowhere near as refined as his act. If you're looking for someone who can stand on stage for an hour and improvise Dave Chapelle-quality material the whole time, you're looking for a person who doesn't exist, and never has existed.

Errol Bogart while i agree with your point you can't blame the show for causing suicide, the people who killed themselves already had an underlying problem which wasn't seen too. Blaming the show for suicide is just as flawed as blaming call of duty for mass shootings
@@salliemckenna6668 Hey Sallie, so I'm sort of coming from a place of first hand experience with media influence. I became a bulimic, eating disorder, from E television when I was 15. I've been semi clean from anorexia/ bulimia for years. Also I saw a CZcams video of a family saying her daughter took her life by slitting her wrists because of that show.
