I think in general Julia Louis-Dreyfus loves being barefoot. Between Seinfeld, Enough Said, Old Christine, and VEEP, there’s plenty of material of her ditching her shoes and rocking her bare feet. Can’t say I blame her. Barefoot is the best feeling ever

I dated a WB production assistant for a while and, obviously knowing about my foot fetish, she would always tell me whenever anything feet related came up. She said she saw Julia Louis-Dreyfus a number of times and she almost exclusively wore flip-flops and would frequently slip them or her flats or heels off and walk around whatever office or set she was on barefoot. She also worked on Scrubs for a season and told me that Sarah Chalke was almost always barefoot while filming. She would wear flip-flops or TOMS to set and kick them off. The only times she would wear shoes were when her whole body was in frame. So if you ever watch Scrubs and see Sarah Chalke from the waist up, there's a good chance she's barefoot.

@@shoeplayisbad1 It's been more than ten years so I don't remember everything. The only other one that really stands out is there was one week where they were filming something on the Universal backlot and she said she saw Aubrey Plaza barefoot a couple times - once smoking outside the soundstage and another time walking with someone through a parking area. Besides that, she would tease me about the fact that, whenever you see close-ups of women's feet in shows and movies, more than half the time, it's a body double. (Like Jennifer Aniston's feet in Office Space.) They'll shoot with the actual actor when their face or most of their body is in frame and then send them off to do another thing just to keep production moving. Close-ups of hands and feet are frequently done as pick-up shots later on with body doubles. (She even would joke with me that she'd offer to be the foot double but I don't think she ever actually did; she was just teasing me.) Kate Beckinsale and Margot Robbie are famous for not wanting to use doubles and prefer the audience to get close-ups of their actual feet, though, God bless them.
Ah! Had she really followed through.... it would've been a service to humanity...
