Great list and video first of all. I love the Cornetto Trilogy and I think a themed Fluxx game would work well to like the movies in a game. You could have goals to collect a matching pair of Simon and Nick from the same movies, or multiple of one from different movies. Creepers could be zombies, aliens and a fence. A good way to work with the theme is have some cards have additional or different effects if they affect or play of other cards from the same movie.
A game I would like to see is a co-op Doctor Who game where each player is a different doctor, each with slightly different skills, trying to complete quests in different timelines.
Another co-op game would be for Borderlands. Team up to find the vault, fight bosses and collect loot along the way. A unique mechanic would be that weapons are made out of three cards laid on top of one another, one that determine the weapon type, another what manufacturer made it and one is an attachment. All the cards have different stats and special effects that combine to make a weapon.
No Avatar: The Last Airbender? Before the Fire Nation Invasion. It would make an awesome RPG. You pick an element to bend and be on spiritual journeys or visiting friends and there is the looming threat of the Fire Nation invading. In the World of Korra you could also have an RPG and pick not to have Bending and instead use newly-developed technologies. It could even make an Overlord game where you're trying to find Airbenders and each scenario would be different towns and mountainsides and villages where the Overlord is trying to hide their captives, capture you etc. The terrain could be manipulated; so it'd probably be hexes consisting of Earth and Water. I'm aware an RPG seems to already exist; though I haven't got to play it. I would imagine it'd be pretty awesome getting to create different offensive and defensive techniques based on your element.
Ok come on. I'm right now writing on a design document for a mecha game based on anime mechas, like Chris suggested for Evangelion AND you released this video on my birthday. Coincidence?
Chris, if you haven't: Watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It makes for much better game designing ;) also, it's like Eva in a comic universe, exchanging the drama with pure liquid awesome. Still love Eva though ;)
With pokemon, i think it would make a great table top RPG. Character creation would be you picking your starting pokemon and race and gender, really simple. Maybe a little backstory. Random encounters would be simple to do and everything is there in the video games.
Instead of the Marvel v Square Enix v DC game why no just a ingdom Hearts game with Marvel characters and Star wars added in.

Also, The Whole Cornetto trilogy would make great, very different games.
Obviously you have Shaun of the Dead, the zombie survival game wherre you are trying to reach the pub,
Then you have Hot Fuzz, which you could ind of do a police precinct lie re-skin.
And Worlds End would work great as a game of mini games. where each pub is totally different gameplay than the other, but in between you still have to avoid, and or fight blanks, with there still being the possibility of the traitor that tries to stop you from beating pub challenges, and you have to as a group beat a certain amount of pub challenges to get to the worlds end, where the traitors are revealed and some final fight happens.
Jacob Keller the board for worlds end would just be an exterior of the streets and each pub entrance is off the board.
Dice Masters already has the DC License, Yugioh, D & D....maybe Square Enix could follow. To be fair a Kingdom Hearts game on it's own would be awesome
There is a Pokemon Board Game. Flip the Table played Pokemon: Master Trainer.
Also Zelda, but yes a good one would be great :p
