@@supergiantsman44 I suppose so, there is drama in the playoffs in American sports. However I think relegation as punishment for poor performance would add a different dimension to the level of drama. Anyway the sporting setup for the major league sports in North America is just different to the rest of the world.
@@anewzim It would be cool to see relegation in American sports but it just isn't feasible. Club owners make up the board of directors for the league, so the rules would never change regardless. No academies and a minimum of 1 to 3 years playing in college followed by player drafts/free agency essentially force any and all talent into the established clubs. Outside of baseball, there are basically no lower league clubs that could take the place of relegated clubs to begin with, let alone have the funds or talent to compete and stay up. And any lower clubs that do exist are just B teams owned by the major clubs.
mate following the Blues not emotional...well yes but fucking nerve racking...over 50 years of it & still going on, sacking Harry who we wanted to keep KRO
I'm not a birmingham fan but got goosebumps when the final whistle when at Bolton just watching it since the passion on there fans and players faces when the whistle went shows moments like that is what footballs about
You probably dont give a shit but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the password. I love any assistance you can give me
@Isaiah Frank I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
As an Everton fan, I had to come back and watch this video again considering we just made a Great Escape of our own. Not nearly as dramatic or last-second as this, but still, it is amazing how much it means to survive relegation. Feels almost as good as winning a title.
I always feel weird watching this back as a Leicester fan. A Doncaster fan was taken ill with a heart attack more or less at the same time that Caddis' goal went in, and the sudden noise from the crowd was for two reasons - from those who had heard what had happened in Bolton, and those who were trying to get the paramedics to come up and help him out, which was delayed due to the confusion. From what i heard, the poor fella died later in hospital.
There is a cruel irony in that Doncaster were promoted by a last minute goal by club legend James Coppinger who chalked up 600 appearances for the club during the 2020/21 season in that dramatic final day against Brentford which actually with Bournemouth who were already up dropping points at Tranmere secured Doncaster the League 1 title by just a point they were sent back to League 1 by a last minute goal.
I'll never forget this day, I was at my Dad's and the two of us blown the roof off the house when Blues scored that second goal. I was in secondary school at the time and my science teacher was a Doncaster fan who was giving it the biggun to us Bluenoses for the whole week before matchday but he soon shut up about it afterwards.
I think this sums up the problem with US sports. With no relegation possible, you miss out on so much drama every season...
I couldn't agree with you more
Americans don’t care about relegation. There is drama in the playoffs

Its funny how Doncaster go up on a last minute goal, and then go down on a last minute goal.
7:33 - When your friend sets you up perfectly on FIFA, but you hold the shooting button down too long...
9:59 is your reaction to it..
LOL!! FIFA bants😂😅🤣😏
Great vid man, love seeing Lee Clark's celebration with the fans. The feelings must have been over whelming. ( Sunderland fan )
As a blues fan I'm surprised we hugged him back

He did unfortunately. Put football into perspective that day. Relegation was irrelevant.
Jukey missed that shot on purpose 😉
this still makes me cry tears of joy
Rewatching this gives me goosebumps. I'm not even a Birmingham City fan.
Looking back you spot thinks like Jutkewitz playing for bolton (he's now at birmingham)

This still makes me cry to this day. Wonderful day.
We will keep right on
We're Birmingham City. We fight to the end.
Again.
yeah like punching Jack Grealish
@@ycchowjohn8829 That was more towards the start though.
We're still fighting for our life in this league. Today we were 1-0 down at home against QPR with ten minutes left and won 2-1.
Still get so emotional watching this
And now Paul Caddis is hated by Wolves, West Brom, Villa, Doncaster and Bolton fans alike!
... but always will be loved in Birmingham City.
Dale Mcilwain Very sad to see him go but still a blues legend in my eyes and will always be. KRO
But a legend at the Blues KRO
@West Brom Fan Channel Totally agree with u mate
Bolton fans actually applauded you mate, your celebrations at surviving were a joy to watch..👍

Birmingham need to show this fighting spirit for Saturday’s game.
this fab, sheer joy and elation, what its all about, from brink of despair to ethuroria, well done from a baggie
Rewatching this in 2024, hoping and praying that we stay up by whatever means necessary like this season.
Same.
Forest fan here....what a comeback !!!
Can we have the football league show back please
Relegation fight/survival/disappointment...drama is real
fuc fact: it was last championship game's Leicester City so far. next season its gonna be change.
I always think Doncaster have been cursed by Brentford since their dramatic promotion back in 2013.
shut up Doncaster we where not going down
12:32 Lee Clark talks about losing his position in the Championship, 5 months later he does
fantastic game !!!!
7:33 that guy should have scored though 🙈
Ironically Neil Danns was a Birmingham player 2006 - 2008 and yes he should of least got his shot on target but I'm glad he didn't....
WE FIGHT TILL THE END
kro
Why Birmingham to stay up 😭😭😭😭😭
Diving to send a team down. Despicable.
Y Cymro Birmingham got a draw so Doncaster would’ve went down anyway
ᴊᴀʏ ᴇғғ if doncaster drew they would have stayed up
Ekamrr yeah but they didn’t ya knob so it doesn’t matter haha
