Jordan Poole gonna average 30+ on 25% shooting
Nah he gonna be a little better than that because he is allowed to cook but I ain’t expecting more than 45 percent
If his rizz mode is active than he puts up 40 point per game with out it like 12 on 12 percent (just a joke by the way)
50/50/90
Wizarss better stack some baddies courtside for Poole to do that..
Half a Shai and double the minutes😂
bro is a mustache twirl away from becoming a cartoon villain
He looks like the pedo character from Lazy Town
Starting t9 look like Older Max Payne
He looks like that pervert cartoon guy from LazyTown
Jordan Poole 30 for 30. 30 points 30% from the field, It'll be almost as good as Jameis Winston's 30 for 30
he ain't averaging 30, when kuzma is on the team! He's better
@ajanalysis7742 Wait who’s better? And why can’t Poole average 30?? We just saw Tatum average 30 lmfao. 30ppg is the new 25ppg
@@holdmyweight3597yeah but Tatum is a Super star... jordan poole at best is a fringe all star in the right situation
30 touchdowns 30 interceptions a season
rusty got the pat riley slicked back hair. he really is a stan now.
People forget that the sixers were the 3rd seed 60 games into in the 21-22 season when we got james harden, with no cap space because the ben situation and a less impactful 2nd year maxey as the second option.
It’s the playoffs that matter bro
My five hot takes….
Note these are hot takes, I don’t expect them to be right, as a matter of fact I think that three of them are completely wrong and not going to happen, see points 2, 3 & 4 I just want to have fun and look back at them as say, well damn…
1.) Anthony Edwards will finish top three in MVP Voting…
2.) Neither Victor Wenbayama or Chet Holmgren will win Rookie of the Year
3.) Dillon Brooks will win most improved player of the year…
4.) The Oklahoma City Thunder will be a top four seed in the West…
5.) The Celtics will split up Brown/Tatum after another failed Eastern Conference playoff
1 and 3 are very unlikely. 2 is actually likely imo
Got to believe in to be a valid take
I hope # 5 comes true as a Laker fan.
@@trentonpearson7353 why? The Celtics aren’t comp like the heat are.
#5 won’t be true for a while, they gave jaylen the richest contract in nba history and they made the finals not too long ago, they’re gonna keep the jays together for the majority of this decade
Rudy, Rusty & myself could be the other starters along Kyrie and Doncic and we’d still be an elite offense, they really need a game changer type of defender to compete for a ring, if they can get their hands on a JJJ type of guy, they’re definitely contenders
Hot take: Trade Kyrie for J Brown. Helps both teams.
You're right i love hot takes, tier lists and deep dives the most.
3 white boys discussing basketball is the most funny thing
Hot takes:
1. The Orlando Magic will easily make the playoffs and possibly make it to the 2nd round.
2. Jordan Poole will be an All-Star
3. Chet Holmgren will win ROTY or DPOY.
4. Markelle Fultz will win MIP
5. Tyler Herro will have a better season than Damian Lillard
Hey rusty, would love to hear your takes on who would be the best nba fantasy picks this upcoming season and who are ya sleepers
Zero chance Embiid is better without Harden. I will take that bet all day every day. For real. Someone put money up on this.
Hot Takes
-Herb Jones will be a DPOY Candidate
-Tyrese Haliburton will be in MVP talks(Top 8 in voting)
-Knicks are going to be a 50 win team
-The Utah Jazz will be a play in team this year
-Gabe Vincent will be in 6MOTY talks
you are deranged, i respect it
The best take is the Knicks take since they already won 47 games last year no other take makes any real sense
@@Amari_14as much as I like herb. The pels need to be completely healthy for him to be in dpoy talks because he’d be on a winning team
Brooo 😂😂😂😂
Herb take is based!
He is a top 5 defender in the league
Dillon brooks gets the rockets to the play in
Too bad the rest of the team is so ass or i would say they are a lock for the finals😢
Bro 💀💀💀
😮
Rockets ain't making the play in ☠️
What a nice teammate, he's buying tickets for the whole team
A mavs take from rusty 😭 I’m so happy rn
Rockets gonna be a top defensive team with brooks and thompson (when they arent tanking)
With a defensivly washed FVV, Sengun and Green starting? good luck with that lol
Hell no
No.
For real on #5 ranking the West top 11 is really tough. They all have potential to be in the playofs. Let alone Utah could be in the mix as well. There are only like 2-3 teams in the conference that have 0 chance.
Mavs are tough to predict, they could be contending or they might be fighting in the play in
The Wizards have a number of interesting guys. Tyus getting to be a starter could average 17/4/8 on good efficiency, Corey Kispert is a walking bucket who pairs elite shooting and strong off-ball movement with good cutting ability, and Daniel Gafford could have a breakout season as the primary 5 for this Wizards team. Coulibialy (I think that’s how you spell it?) has tons of defensive potential, so he’s worth watching. Avdija is a guy who can do anything, just not necessarily *well*, but if he can find a role instead of being shoved out there just to complete the starting 5, he could finally reach some of that lottery-pick potential. And Johnny Davis also exists.
Do I think they’ll be good? Nah. But definitely interesting, especially for statheads like me.
Hot Takes:
1. The Suns win 70+ regular season games.
2. The Cavs get the #1 seed in the East.
3. The Grizzlies miss the playoffs.
4. The Hornets make the playoffs.
5. Sixers get off to a bad start. Embiid and Nurse clash/have their differences resulting in Nurse getting fired within 20 games.
6. The Spurs fire Popovich some point during the season.
7. Austin Reaves makes the allstar team.
8. The Knicks win the in-season tournament and their fans act like they won the title.
9. If still on the Heat, Tyler Herro leads them in ppg.
10. The Bulls blow it up, trading Lavine, Derozan, and Vucevic before the trade deadline.
11. Jordan Poole averages 30+ppg.
12. The Warriors end up waiving Chris Paul.
dude idk, warriors fans from what I saw hated poole, maybe in a situation where winning is irrelevant that won’t matter but I could see myself being very depressed having him as my best player
hot take #1: I’m sexy and I know it
I LOVE THE DALLAS TAKE
My top 5 hot takes:
1. The Sacramento Kings will get worse and fall from the 3 seed to the 6th seed/somewhere in the play in. Not because they'll get worse, but other teams will get better.
2. The Boston Celtics got better in terms of talent, but they're most likely gonna get knocked out of the first or second round due to health issues (KP/Brogdon) and some slight choking.
3. The Portland Trailblazers are being phonies trying to get Miami to empty out their assets. They already have Simons, Sharpe, and Scoot, why do they need so much assets other than draft picks? Im speaking as a Portland Trailblazers fan.
4. Speaking of Scoot, he will win ROTY over Chet, Wemby, and Miller.
5. If the Heat get Dame, the Nuggets and Heat will have a rematch in the Finals, but the Heat will still lose to the Nuggets in 7
Brogdan was struggling in the playoffs last year anyways and they were 1 Tatum injury away from the finals and Porzingis had 3 healthy seasons so idk
When you have a top 15 player in the league and trying to trade him you suppose
To get the most value that you can as a owner and gm that what good owners and gm”s do plus why not since they have leverage it would be stupid for Portland to only take draft picks for a top 15 player because if they do that then it be the same fans saying they should have gotten a better deal and they fumble the trade
Lmaoo at #4
W video, I’d be incredibly shocked if the Mavs win 57 games, I feel like they’re gonna continue to be a mess
I believe in the concept of addition by subtraction, but I think Harden sacrificed a lot to make Embiid look better. And I think without Harden, Embiid will look a lot more normal.
I'd tend to disagree, he averaged 30 without Him or ben he can do it again. Although It'd be nice for him to get more playmaking reps because this team has no true passer/playmaker- potential lineup like
Patrick Beverely
Tyrese Maxey
Tobias Harris
Pj Tucker(He's trash)
Joel Embiid(THE GOAT)
Y’all should go watch the spurs series on the third channel, Jacob really does a good job with it 👍🏼😀
Centers take longer to settle in than guards, you can look at Jokic and Embidd as oerfect examples. They still had to grow into their adult bodies
Joel has been scoring 20+ every season he played
@dr.meatsack2712 I think he said Embiid cause he missed the first 2 yrs of his career with injury
I really wish you went to your CZcams community as well for your ARB videos. I have some hot takes, but I don’t want twitter.
ese we
Hot take: zions weight minus ben simmons made three point field goals will be still the same
😂
I’m an accountant. Bold of you to assume that I am better than you think I am.
Joel Embiid will be back to back MVP.. and average an enormous 12ppg in the playoffs..
Again..
Numero uno
I think if anything, Luka or Jayson Tatum are next up for MVP. I know Embiid, Giannis, and Joker will be in the convo and you coulda argue that all 3 would be the top 3 candidates too but voter fatigue is real and jt or Luka haven’t won one yet so I feel like it’s going to either of them
luka is gonna be an uphill batte, lukas 100% a better player than taytum but taytum will have a better record and mavericks having a top seed is gonna be iffy
Last season the two players after the three centers in the vote were Tatum and SGA.
I honestly think Kuzma will have a better season than Poole scoring wise.
@@holdmyweight3597y’all overrating Poole. He will be at 25 or lower. Kuzma will prob be at the same
@@holdmyweight3597Kuzma been doing it for longer and less streaky as Poole. It doesn't really matter tho when it's empty stats
@@holdmyweight3597 you arent averaging over 25ppg shooting under 45%. the days of Iverson are over. You have to be efficient and he isnt Steph. Nor does he get to the free throw line like that.
Also there are other players just joining. Tyus Jones been wanting to be a starter. He finally gonna get his shine. Kuzma gonna try and put up big numbers too
@@holdmyweight359745% is the highest of his career. But last year he was 43% and he is gonna start being guarded by the best players. We arent taking that into consideration. ALso Shai gets to the free throw line regularly and is super efficient. I can see Poole starting off hot bt now that teams are gameplanning for his specific I just dont see him being as successful as everyone. Ant Edwards was averaging less than 25ppg last season. Foxx has never averaged 26ppg before. i dont see him being more dominant offensivaly than either of those guys.
@@holdmyweight3597All the high scoring guys share the same thing, lots of free throws. Trae was number #7 last year. Steph is the only exception because he is so efficient shooting.
Gobert isnt and offensive threat and KAT didnt play most the season. And its not just that Fox didnt average more than 25 last year. Its that he never has. My point is that its not as easy as everyone thinks it is. You still have to be elite even in this era to be averaging over 25ppg.
Jordan Poole revenge season.
Hot takes 2024 edition
- LeGM will trade all his teammates away at the deadline.
- The Rockets make the play in
- Clippers win the chip (if healthy.)
- The Grizzlies make the wcf, and are a one seed doing it.
- Knicks make a big trade, and make an ECF (no I’m not a Knick fan. Yuck.)
Your Grizzlies take is hilarious, you a Grizz fan?? If they end with the 1 seed with Jah missing all those games I’d be shocked. I have them missing the playoffs lmao
@@holdmyweight3597 I’m not a grizzlies fan. You not having them in the playoffs is nasty. It’s only 25 games, and if they go 13-12 in that run they will easily make the playoffs. The west is never healthy, so I don’t see many teams cracking 50 wins. Unless if they magically are healthy this season, then they’ll have like 4 teams with 50+. With the grizzlies being one of them.
@@VictoriesAtTheMarathon I don’t see them being as good as most think without Jah. The West is good this coming season
yesterday he said the mavs offense with kyrie n luka wasn’t that good 😭😭😭 what’s up dude
jordan poole scoring title this year
Nah bro that Mavs take is willddd💀
Hot take - Tatum 2023-2024 MVP
he has the talent but it's one of those situations where brown and KP will take away scoring opportunities from hin individually and he will thus have lower stats compared to other candidates.
Bulls trade everybody by the trade deadline.
Lillard to the Pelicans for Ingram
Zion plays 56 games
Timberwolves trade Kat by the deadline
Rusty u should grow mullet guarantee to get ya subscribers up 😅
😂
Only two teams broke 50 wins in the west last season. I really doubt the Thunder are achieving that.
Is the west better than the East now?
@@fortynights1513the top three teams in the east are were better then all the teams in the West (other than the nuggets) but the talent level in the West is a lot more spread out
Well this didn't age well. OKC got the #1 seed and won 57 games 😶🌫
poole is not avg 30 pts bro
Jordan Poole will finish top 3 in the MIP race, Jaden Hardy will win it though 🙏🏾
Why isn't anyone talking about the beard 😂😂😂😂
I think Poole is gonna average 25.6 PPG on 36.2% FG.
SGA has low-key become the most overrated player in the NBA. Dude is a foul merchant. Let's calm down.
Runner up in MVP lmao
Sacramento Kings are gonna end up being the 1st seed in the West
Over the nuggets? Idk man
🔥
@@sleepysnooze9587 i can see the Nuggets taking it easier during the regular season. I don't see the Kings making it past the 2nd round tho
Yup
@@x_master_xtop410fox and sabonis gonna be the number one seed in the West with Jokic Ja Curry Booker KD Beal Bron and AD
James harden would be a perfect fit for the miami heat if they cant get damian Lillard
Brunson leads Knicks to 50+ wins
Yeah then gets clapped in 2nd round.
Good call bro. W
Tyus Jones MIP
Also the west isn’t as strong as it looks. On paper it’s the more stacked conference but it’s also the more injury prone conference by A LOT. Lakers, Warriors, Clippers, and Pelicans can all easily be in that 11 spot if someone’s knee explodes (which is going to happen idk to who tho)
Where did this SGA for MVP talk come from? How bout he lead his team to the 2nd rd of the playoffs 1st before we talk bout MVPs.
MVP isn't a career award lol. If OKC wins 50+ games and SGA puts up 30-5-5 again, it doesn't matter what he did last year
Mvp is a regular season award also so by this logic kobe didn’t deserve his mvp because before he won Kobe never made past the first round without shaq
@@jaceygaither2581never said MVP was a career award. Just said how can one be most valuable when their team can’t even make the playoffs? Who is OKC knocking out from last year to make it into the playoffs this year? It’s an honest question.
@@Wrestle_Kingdomhow many MVPs come from non playoff teams? Can you name 3 from the last 20 years? How valuable are you if you can’t lead your team to the playoffs?
@@mrvxg4820 you completely ignore my point but your logic was bad because Kobe never led his team to anything until he won mvp but I would never hold that against him because his team was trash he didn’t get it until he got help
The same goes for shai nobody expected okc to be as good as they were plus this the last season was the first year people look at shai as a mvp talent if shai get okc to 50 win while having the stats it possible you don’t need multiple playoffs appearances to win the award
yikers
Hot Take: the Memphis Grizzlies will be the 3rd seed and make it to the conference finals
Hot Take: the Pacers or Magic will be a playoff team
I can see that
Bro I'm not sure you know what hot take means... there is a really good chance those things happen.
@@Ericrawnsley they have a good chance of doing it but who are actually saying the grizzlies will make it to the conference finals most people are low on the grizzlies since the whole ja incident a lot of people think they will struggle
And the pacers you can say not a hot take but magic idk from what I seen people will still say teams like the raptors, bulls, hawks are still clearly better
The grizzlies were the 2 seed two years in a row with everyone only getting better that take isn't really that hot
@@Amari_14 I say it more of a hot take now than it was a year ago tell me who actually saying the grizzlies are making it to the wcf especially with ja missing 25 plus if other teams got better than that lessen the chances of them making it
Tatum leads the Celtics to 66 Wins and wins MVP ..
😂🤣
@@shawtyeatemup1352 what's Funny ? He led them to 57 Wins and the celtics Lost A lot of games they should've easily won...
@@xxprodigygod7627does that mean they are gonna win that many games with a flawed offense? I don’t think so
@@Unanimouseditz flawed offense ? Are you Dumb or what ? The Celtics Last Year had the 2nd Best Offensive Rating in the NBA and they Have Added A 23 PPG scorer I see that your are a casual LMAO..... The only Flaw the celtics had was Not Playing with A lot of Effort every Game...
The warriors will win their last ring to end the dynasty for 2024.
My Hot take for the 2023-24 season is that the Hornets will be a top 6 seed and Brandon miller will day one be a top 2 player on the team and the only reason it will be debatable is because Lamelo is an elite passer.
Hornets not even making the play-in.
Huh?
@@ry_an. Really so who made the playoffs? Also did Harden and Dame end up getting traded?
@@user-yt3sc4kk1y I believe that Miller will be the Hornets best player and along side Lamelo make at least a top 6 seed
You are a hornets fan and genuinely cannot see past your bias but in the same breath I'm totally here for this reality.
Not one single hot take in the whole video. Impressive
30ppg on 100 shots a game
Suns will win championship if healthy
How is Shai gunna be in MVP convo wgen he can barely play 60 games for the last 3 seasons. 65 is the cut off. He playes 68 last barely last year. But you think its possible he can be in MVP talks AND they win 50 games? Thats a hot take lol..not even close to hapoening though
you do know he can just play more games right
@@Tjaybndz you do know its not as simple as that right
You do know that shai was being shut down for 2 years right and wasn’t that badly injured it a reason his rookie and sophomore year he played most game and this year when okc was competitive again he played most games
Now the 50 win I don’t see but not because of talent but due to how okc is gonna approach this season
@@Wrestle_Kingdom You do know thats what im talking about right. Him getting to 65 and them getting to 50 has nothing to do with his talent but how OKC operates.
@@killakam8738 I think we agree on them not winning 50 games because of how okc operates but not about shai can play the games needed to win the award because shai only sat out before they wasn’t competitive it same for Giddey and lu dort but all of them played close or 70 games because they was competitive
Harden isn't getting traded so the first take is kinda irrelevant
Ohh shit

3.sga will lead the thunder to a 5th seed and make the second round

6. Zion still gets injured and gets traded
7.luka and the mavs finish as a top 3 seed
8. Jordan Poole averages 26+
9. Jayson Tatum regresses and the Celtics finish outside of the top 4 in the East
10.Anthony edwards finishes 4th in mvp
11. Steph, embiid, luka, sga, dame will average 32+ point per game
Sga will average 34.8ppg and Steph will average 34.2ppg
Jordan poole will beat the warriors in the finals
I'm sorry for the sixers fans for 2024 to have loser harden and under the bus thrower, pity 2023 mVp embiid loser. Though there is still a chance, maybe, 0.001%, that both harden and embiid will play with all their hearts and become the best NBA players both are. Mabuhay!
Harden is better than embiid
