You forget one thing about the trade obsession. Every single trade for some reason has to be a fleece job where your favourite team has to get the opposing team's stars for your scrubs.
No not at all....I think most NBA fans with a brain can tell both Milwaukee and Portland both got exactly what they needed. Theres tons of trades that a lot of fans thought both initially and in hindsight worked out for both teams. The tendency for bad GMs making bad deals just distorts that. Its fair to call bad trades....bad trades. Everyone knew Rudy Gobert trade was a bad trade for Minny the second it happened. That deserves to be called out by fans.
I can listen to Kenny all day. So entertaining and captivating to listen too while also being measured, knowledgeable and not clickbait-y. This is rare. Treasure of a man!

dLo would’ve probably have been my pick too for the Lakers but im really interested to see more max christie this season hopefully and how Cam plays with us.
So far max needs some time to develop, in my opinion. The first preseason game he was making a lot of mistakes on the floor. But I do see the potential. He had a couple nice plays twords the end.
I think Dlo is going to be vital to Lakers regular season success. Man can get a bucket and be a floor general, especially when Lebron and AD inevitably miss time. Hard to see him getting traded.

Doug had some quality minutes in the preseason game before garbage time where he and Cedi played some nice two man games and McBuckets fired off a quick 10. I don’t think he gets moved, he’s a great veteran for this team. Helps unlock the floor for the young guys to operate off the bench like Branham
Yea agreed spurs won't trade him he's a great vet and he's on an expiring deal. Maybe at the midseason deadline he could get traded for some 2nds but he won't be moved yet

Hey Kenny, as a Bulls fan would you trade Ball and Portland's own first-round pick (back) for Malcolm Brogdon? The Blazers would then try to flip Ball in a year if he's healthy and on the last of his contract.
a contender would probably offer something better if Brogdon can come back healthy.

@@fpl_djhammer they rolled the dice waiting for Lonzo. Lavine barely has the highest trade value and it wouldn’t be amazing. DeRozan is aging and can’t shoot 3s. Vooch can get something respectable to the right team, unless they just try to do right by him.

I’m a guy who roots for players more than teams. But I’m from NC and I do consider The Hornets to be “my team”. That being said they should’ve traded Hayward at least a year ago. With the luck of this franchise, this will be the season where he plays 70+ games and returns to All Star form. And since they’re incompetent, they won’t trade him and he’ll sign elsewhere in free agency,
He’s not returning to all star form. They should keep him though. Need some veteran leadership in that locker room
Keep up the extremely hard work and continue the hardwork grind you put in each and every day to be the best u can be for yourself and at the end of the day you're hardwork will pay off and it will feel bittersweet to have that accomplishment that u have achieved and you are a extremely gifted individual who wants to be the best version of yourself and never feel like your satisfied because at the end of the day you can reach all time highest level possible and set high bars or records for your career and life

Toronto is in a very difficult situation. The lineup is all starting caliber players (except for pascal) but nothing better. No stars. We have the young guys to trade for a star but would jeopardize our future by trading out the young guys.
As a Heat fan I could see some sort of Herro for Siakam trade, if the Raptors decide on building for the future.

As much as I hate to see him go, the guy most logical to trade (aside from Chris Paul if it does not work out) would be Klay Thompson followed by Andrew Wiggins. Both have large contracts and Klay is just not the same player he was prior to injury, especially defensively. If they could get myles turner, Buddy Hield and TJ McConnell, you trade what you need to.

Zeke is so frustrating. He is one of the most cyclical players in the league, He'll start the season looking good, he'll strat playing exceptionally well (in relation to expectations on him of course), then he'll get injured and all his progress is reset. Over and over and over. Great dude, and I'm hoping Jalen Pickett will be able to boost his offensive ability. But my hopes are not high

I know it won’t happen but I’d really love to see a kat for Trey young swap. Both players need fresh starts, and both have teammates that make max money that play the same position. I think Trey would do wonders for ant and gobert. And kat would give dejounte and and bey some great spacing.
For the Warriors it should be Wiggins and Kuminga if klay is not good enough to be the number 2 i can see them trading wiggins and kuminga for another all star like siakam and Joel Embiid

As a Wolves fan, trading KAT makes sense for the points Kenny made, but a lot of fans have been sick of him whining at every call, and hogging the ball. It’s ANT’s team, and he needs KAT’s touches and contract size, so get rid of KAT while you can for value
Also a Wolves fan and I have a different take. I'm a season ticket holder who watches every game and I saw KAT be much better about whining last year and he's still super efficient. And people can't complain about KAT whining, when Ant arguably does it even more haha. Ant can't do it on his own and he's said numerous times how KAT takes pressure off of him. Why send that extra help away? They're not going to get equal value. Also KAT is a underrated passer and doesn't need many shots to get his points, which leaves more possessions for others. Playing the offense through Ant right now is mostly Ant iso (I watch every game). I love Ant but it can be both of their team, just like KG said. Ant already gets the most touches even with KAT here and KAT is a willing passer so I don't see how he's a ball hog or taking Ant's touches.

DFS, since he reached brooklyn his shooting numbers have dropped dramatically. If the Nets season is one that doesn't have any playoff hopes I believe he should be sent to another team for a vet and a pick as the Nets are a young team and might need that type of old guy on the roster.

as a warriors fan, moody is probably the easiest choice. but my pick is kuminga, his value is still very high, and he hasn't really showed me anything out side of the athleticism to think he can develop enough to be a meaningful part of a championship. dont get me wrong, he could be Kawhi 3-5 years from now but warriors are in win now mode. Moody has carried himself like a vet since he arrived. stayed quiet and grinded. ill take wahtever moody bring bc i knowit'll be consisntent ,and he wont check out once he stops getting minutes. luckily we have some time tosee how both players have developed, which onewants to win andwhich one wants to shine. i truly believe that if JK doesnt show a leap, and moody gives us around the same production, JK is the first one out.
