- The Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale New York has an incredible optical illusion that could have you walking straight into the water.
Continuing my travels through New York, I had to stop at this abandoned cement mine. Upstate NY is full of really cool places to see and explore. Too bad I couldn't stay here longer. But its all there for you're viewing pleasure. Road trip New York! It could be you!

Hey everyone, thanks for watching. Hope you love the amazing Widow Jane Mine!
half expected to see the Flintstones in that beautiful cave!
Wow! That created a TOTAL optical illusion! It actually showed up great on your camera. Great job again man your vids are just fabulous!!!
Another great video with no hinting around for money. Love your videos.
I consider myself lucky enough to own a home within 2 miles.
The acoustics are so good we can be on open air deck and enjoy not only the eclectic music, but the crowds singing along, sometimes.
Well worth an hour trip for sure, but check their calander.
🍻 cheers
Another great video in another great place!
Thanks dude
I live pretty close to this place. It’s so cool. And there are other caves not that far from there that go deeper in.
You are so gifted with your ability to create documentaries!
Always enjoy your videos! Thank you😃
The statue of the boy....Manneken Pis in the centre of Brussels. Good explore.
That's pretty cool!!! Pat
I could explore in caves and mines all day long! ❤️
KitschyTravels Same here. Old train tunnels too
What an incredible piece of American history and a hidden jewel. A concert in a mine sounds pretty sweet! I enjoy exploring caverns, mines and rock formations, but get claustrophobic. 😂 There's just something about organic beauty in nature. hahaha!!!! Money Pit, I love that movie. What if that is the peeing boy from the movie? You may have just witnessed a small slice of movie memorabilia. Gosh, I love the '80s. lol. Great episode! Looking forward to the next adventure.
ItsVanessa This was such a cool place. I have to come back for a concert !
What a cool place to see a concert in. Definitely see the optical illusions.
VERY COOL
I love your videos dude!
Glad I found your channel saves me time and energy on my computer to find amazing places to visit. Thanks again. Safe travels.😎
So Beautiful
Very interesting. Thanks.
Im sure its awesome. My ex lives in Rosendale. He always said he would bring me there but in 7 yrs he never did.
I can see them having concerts in there.. their not all there upstairs in that town..lol
More ppl have to watch this
Adam the Woos video led me here. Thankful for it though another amazing channel
Shaggy Rogers Hey, thanks for checking me out!
Lmao
The Statue of Liberty's 27,000 ton "concrete" pedestal came from that mine! Cement is just one ingredient in concrete.
that water does throw off a crazy illusion its like glass or a mirror with the reflection. what a powerful light you got there. is it a flash light or an led that mounts to your camera. i use a LED camera mount but for some locations that I'm at its not good enough. i love the money pit movie there would be a cool film location to find that house.
I use a square LED light that had really good reviews on Amazon. Its amazingly bright for its size.
This is awesome!
Thanks Leslie!
You're welcome
Great vids from a decent guy, subbed forever I guess 🤗
Lol at the statue and Money Pit reference!
What the heck would keep rocks from falling from a loud concert? Interesting! I just saw a place similar to that by Las Vegas. It's in Nelson (or maybe nelson mine. Not sure). You'd like it. I'll find out more about it and let you know.
I thought you were joking when u said cement mine that gave the statue of liberty it's pedestol. I had to google it. I thought they just used crushed rock and gravel for cement. Cool video
In your mid west travels did you do any trips through Missouri? Check out Elephant Rocks State Park, and Mastodon State Park. Booneville MO has a sweet abandoned train lift bridge on the Katy Trail Rail to Trails ,, great videos,,,,,,
+Tom Huesgen I've heard of Elephant Rock but never been there. I 'll pit them on the list.
Mobile Instinct Johnson Shut ins is there too.
Great video. Excited to see where you go next
A Poison Pie Thanks! Some cool videos are coming soon !
L O V E THE HAIRCUT
If you're arms gets any bigger jeff, you're not gonna be able to find shirts. Just sayin. It's funny that half your head is cut out of your profile pic in order to center the gun in there! Lol. Trust me back when i was all ripped up I'd have done the exact same! It's ALOT of hard work to get that big
What is worter? Why are you adding an extra R in there?
What kind of mushrooms?
This reminds me of the one scene in the movie “the matrix” . The scene is the cave rave
The water looked so clear at the beginning the just turned to green muck later on
Haha very true, I guess its just sitting down in there
They also do concerts in there which is cool and they use really neat lighting in the cave. The sound in the cave from the concerts are awsome.
Rose-in-dale.
ROSE-IN-DALE.
Otherwise, wild man! Next time you're back, let me know. There is SO MUCH MORE in my back yard (yes, my back yard) to explore. I could show you thinks that would blow your mind.
