Oh my goodness...I was on the edge of my seat throughout this whole video. When I was a little boy, my family and I lived on an old estate where stood a 200yr old house. This old behemoth had two stories with an attic. It was built using rough-hewn square logs & square nails, and it was well-stocked with a seemingly endless supply of relics. I will never forget the countless hours of my childhood spent exploring that mystical mansion. Thank you so much for taking us on your trip to The Bennett School...Kindest Regards to you Mr. Gurney.

Kevin has such a light hand with the music. Always appreciate his tunes in the background.

Abandoned places are so intriguing-- moreso when it's an entire community. I'm always curious about what happened to make people leave. What a way to get a glimpse of the past, though!

What an amazing place, that must've been a great experience!
Also those watercolors at the end are spectacular; you're giving Sargent a run for his money, whatever that even means.

Fair point. Wish I knew the backstory, but the place didn't come with a guidebook. This was just some raw, real footage of our little discoveries, not meant to be a docu or a movie.

It makes me insane that places like this are left to rot.

The first structure is a small old chapel on the grounds of the old resort area known as Wild Acres its actually right off a dirt road a couple hundred feet from the paved road. totally accessible.

The more I think about it - the less I want to know about this place. I prefer the mystery of it all, and the sketches James posted at the end were hauntingly beautiful, no pun intended.
