Another GREAT video RR, why would anyone vandalize a mausoleum, graveyard, or anyone's final resting place is beyond me.

An absolute shame. Randoms suck with their graffiti and desecration. Thank you for the info of this shell of a place. 👍❤️😊

    Excellent.and unique.
Sad that its isolation that would have brought tranquility and beauty in nature
was the attraction to vandalism and its demise. Also sad that family of all the interred
had to take away their loved ones and have them reburied. Bones that were left behind
were probably some left from the casket break-ins when the vandals scattered them
when doing their grave robbing, or pieces when the deteriorated caskets were moved.
Thanks for the history and it was nice to hear "real" dialogue rather than a "robot."

Even as a strong person, I tear up sometimes when seeing abandoned funeral homes, mausoleums, cemeteries and colombariums/colombaria (the last being sort of a mausoleum space for cremation urns). However, I'm thankful for this one to the extent that the remains were removed, seemingly before it was left to nature to take over (evidently alongside the vandals and psychotic misfits who visit and leave evidence of their unwanted presence). I'm not certain how you felt actually being there, but on the video, it feels like something of a 'sacred space' even in the absence of on-site human remains.
On the other hand, if you watch videos about the Roger Williams Mausoleum in Cranston, Rhode Island or, say, the Good Shepherd Mausoleum (I believe either in Oklahoma or Pennsylvania), you will witness the utter desecration, depravity and decay of abandoned mausoleums, to which vandalism, non-secure or breached entrances, leaking graves, leaking roofs, aging, overgrowth of vegetation and lack of maintenance have all laid waste. (I think that someone is trying to fix Good Shepherd, but I lost track of the story).
    Thanks for sharing this.

It definitely felt peaceful up here on the mountain. We also have a video out on Good Shepherd! We revisited it late last year and sadly it is pretty much the same state as our video, though a few more coffins have been removed.

So odd. So no one considered that a remote location for this would be a magnet for vandals?

Those look to be floor crypts. They were found in European Cathedrals, and they are often used in private mausoleums as a way to increase the capacity.
