The 190E EVO that Mercedes-Benz NEVER made | Rendered with Kyza - Ep. 4

- In 1990, Mercedes-Benz released the 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II. Building off the success of the EVO I, Mercedes, without realizing it, had developed the EVO II to be one of the best compact sports saloons in the world and captured Mercedes-Benz its first DTM title in 1992. Sadly, the EVO II had a short production span only running from 1990 to 1991. But what if Mercedes didn't discontinue the 190 EVO production? What would the EVO III look like? In this episode of "Rendered," Khyzyl uses his imagination to explore the possibilities of a 190 EVO III that's a bit of a restomod of the EVO II. Would the EVO III be a two-door? Would it be a more race-ready version of the EVO II? Let us know in the comments what you think the EVO III would have looked like.

This one was an absolute blast to create, and it isn't slammed! Not sure what was more difficult, trying to figure out how I wanted the body to look, or trying not to slam it haha. Hope you all enjoyed this one, I don't think the original can ever be improved upon or topped in terms of styling, but this is just my own interpretation of what "could be" essentially. Interested to hear what you all think could be powering it?!
Great job, as always! I feel like the current turbo 2.0 AMG hybrid setup from the upcoming C63 would be ideal as you're keeping the 4-cylinder spirit of the original with an eye towards the future.
Not even joking, I've been slowly restoring what I've been calling "A Kyzhyl Saleem inspired190E" for the last for 4 years. I check LTO every week just hoping you'll build a kit for this car some day. Love what you do, you really have no idea the inspiration you've been on me and our custom emblem business...
Maby R129(600SL SL600) or clk-GTR racing version making it elektro not futuristic, but you might make it from scratch hehe :D
Really Cool and Nice :D how often 3dsmax crash? i used older version since it crashed more and more for every update/Year update 3dsmax :)
Can we download the model somehow? I know this would be a hit in Assetto Corsa
the details are what does it for me, that rear emblem as the tail light is soooo sick, this is awesome man, i’ve been following you on instagram for years and you’ve inspired me to start drawing and rendering stuff, cheers Kyza!!
Keep these Kyza vids coming! huge fan glad to see his work.
I swear to god if you started building that kit at reasonable prices it will sell like hot cake! It’s cool AF!
I used to push my Dad's 190e away from the house at night and drive it around when I was a teenager best times
Mom had one in high school and I miss is to this day. At least for US a somewhat rare manual transmission. A blast to drive
I am a "form follows function guy" and absolutely hate it when cars look to low to be derivable or when the camber on the wheels is overdone. Therefore I hated the first two examples of what you did with it in the past. This one though, I like.

mercedes c124
Roundie BMW 2002 - as what he imagined BMW actually did in 2002. Rumor is that BMW did make a one off 2002 before the year 2002 and sitting in the BMW vault next to the BMW mini van 😆
Lancia Stratos
Foose + Kyza collab when?! pretty please, with sugar on top! make it happen, Hagerty!!!
That Thread Ripper is insanely fast!!
this is amazing. great innovative changes to the original idea. great job. 2 doors! would build this for sure.
This is one of the coolest resto mods I have ever seen. If Mercedes decided to bring back the 180 as your design or similar as an electric, I would snatch it up in a heart beat!
Great work Kyza, CHEERS!
Coloured like an old Portuguese taxi... Well done! Congratulations!
Absolutely love it! Amazing work!
Kyza keeps the boxy cyberpunk dream alive.
This is jaw-droppingly sick!
Still waiting for the episode where you 3d print this kit and instal on a real 190E, it is going to be amazing man! Really hyped for it
Very classy. Never overdone. You are a real talent, sir!
great video, really cool to see in n outs of the entire process.
This is an amazing effort. Love the wider body, and rear end treatment. Rear tails and inset logo look great. The front end is a bit to busy for me with it being exposed carbon while the car is silver. The headlights also are a bit of a distraction with the center bar light. I do like the venting on next to the headlight and the rail style parking lights. Lastly though...I want it to be a 4 door. That was always one of the biggest draws for me with the 190 2.3-16 vs the e30 M3, but I have always liked sedans and wagons over coupes.
Keep up the awesome work.
This is ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING! I was forever in love with the Evo II but THIS! OMG This absolutely rocked my world!
Love the hell out of this design, everything just works
That widebody e36 desktop wallpaper is sick!!
Bro this is too good. Great talent
Absolutely gorgeous. What an amazing eye for detail and beauty... And the Max skills... wow
Very enjoyable. Great outcome. Subbed.
this needs to be made a body kit
Good effort young man!
One key change tho, when going 2-door you always move the B-pillar rearwards, in the case of the 190 I’d say 80-100mm.
Yes - this was not done on that Delta which actually is it’s main design flaw. (It has a few more too..) Obviously, this made the prototype much easier to build! :)
AMAZING WORK!!!!!!!! BRAVO
absolutely stunning!
Insert Cam'ron on Bill O'Reilly sayin' "u mad," to everyone who can't handle this. 10/10 render, would build!
Too cool, dope af. Love it!
This is really amazing! Someone should craft a car like this for real... Congratulations!
Awesome stuff!
He's no less than a legend. I haven't seen renders as cool as his before.
As a 190E Evo2 replica owner myself I'm glad that my car has that type of love
I used to do this sort of thing years ago as a kid on Sketchup, but not to this level. Looks awesome and need to try and give it a go myself
I would go for it! a 190E coupe would be sweet.
The black version with the green roof looks just like a pumped version of a Portuguese taxi!! Go check! Hahaha😂
Man, those hagerty fellows know who to get for first class content…
Oh, hell yeah! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dass is a thing of beauty! Absolutely gorgeous!
A black and green 190!! You just made a Portuguese taxi 😁😁
That Lancia was on an episode of wheeler dealers.
AMAZING!!!!
That looks really great. :)
Very informative.
Damn that's looks sick!
Where to get the 3d printing pdf or something like a file.. it's worth to 3d printing this "PIECE OF ART"
now thats pretty dope
please keep this thing up for a while,
Sick congrats 😍😍
Why is it "Hagarty" that is at the cutting edge of most things auto Enthusiasts love, great people ,artists, driver's, collectors, owners. Hagarty , has put it self, in the clouds of the SPORTS CAR WORLD in a very short time! Thank You Hagarty !
Kyza gets it he has Sports Car Enthusiast, in him. A man his age ,is proof the internet is a great learning tool. He has the broad spectrum of Sports Car design that a man two to three times his age has lived! Very cool!
That is a reall Nice look, it feels right
Gosh that is sick
GREAT 🔥
Kyza x Hagerty = Crazy Delicious 🤩
love everything about it, except for the front end... I love the shapes, but mainly to me its the grill and the headlights that look off to me, everything else is absolutely on point, great render!
Being from Portugal, I absolutely kept hoping you would do the base colour black after seeing the colour you chose for the accents. Then you show it and I crack up seeing what is basically a race-y version of the quintessential Portuguese Taxi! 🇵🇹👍🏻
I love the content! You are so creative! I need to learn how to just do a fraction of this! And would you render a Datsun 510 or 240z?
You’re a legend
Nice idea.
Only, this is an illusion, not a real project!
My favorite yet
Next On Hagerty: Why You NEED A Fake Turbo Exhaust Whistle!
Thats nice!!
Very creative treatment of the tail lights. I would have carried that design to the headlights too -- as it stands, the front end is a little too "Chrysler 300 with a body kit" because of the lights and the flat grille.
I'm gonna need the internet to stop doing sick ass renders and builds of the 190E. You all are gonna make it hard to find one for a reasonable price before I can start my project. Sick work!
You can definitely notice that it's a (or based on the) 190E. Really liking the looks of it. Love the rims and that little spoiler extension.
Only thing I would change is the air inlet of the fenders in the front of the car. Those right next to the big air intake where the indicators used to be.
Since there already is an air intake, they look kinda out of place. To me at least xd But overall really nice! :D
Looks sick man, my Dad had a silver one of these back in the days, loved it! The only thing I would change is the rear lights and put 3 bars instead of 2 - EVO III
You should make it to Cyberpunk 2077 as a mod car! Also with SEC bonnet option
Stance & wide body ... Rolled eyes!!
Love it! Also, can I ask if anyone knows the name of the program used to copy/paste images from google?
11 minutes later... SUBSCRIBED!
Great! That green roof makes it look like a Portuguese old cab! Instead of being the silver arrow, IST the silver taxi!
The rear bumper could've been better but overall dope
The front isn´t really my kind of taste, but the rear all the more is. That looks really amazing!
And nice desktop background! 😉👌
Sick.
This is dope. Probably my next project car tbh. The only thing that seemed off to me was the black under the taillights at a glance it looks like part of the taillights so makes them look bigger, but still dope. Very inspirational. Love the turquoise.
The final images are just stunning!!! Mr. Kyza you're the man!
What was that program you did the mood board in?
Nice work! I would have another one or two light lines at the rear for a more classic Merc feel
Very good
what are you using to make your 3d renderings
Love the video! I am a designer myself and I am looking to move to corona rendering how long does it take for you to render out these high res images? And do you have a super powerful computer?
Sick
The 190 being one of my favourite cars since I saw so many of them growing up - most of them as taxis (bless being German!) - I really appreciate your take on the Evo. The colourway seems fitting these days.. The one thing I'd really change, however, is the lights, front and back. I love the old school lights of 25-plus-year-old cars, especially the orange indicators and the red taillights. They give these cars some charater in my opinion. I always had a strong dislike for those clear or full-black tuner taillights and indicators. Apart from that, great project and who (of the car enthusiasts) wouldn't like this being made by Mercedes, however unrealistic it may be.
With the black and green colors, it looks like a Portuguese taxi 🇵🇹
What if the CLK-GTR was based on the 190 too, or C124 to see what it would look with the big rectangular headlights
It's a great start, needs refinement 25% less aggression, adjust angles to flow and less weight at the rear.. But never the less great design direction!
Cleaaaaaan!
ayy nice mercedes-petronas-theme, i like these not too overdone ones
What kind of software are you using?
I like it
I also like the fenders
How bout the R33 next ?
I'm loving this series, and I love seeing Kyza's creativity at work. (Also, his comment "what if it was electric" IMO suits it really well, especially with the Petronas colours in there)
Hi!
Is there any way I could get this model for my video cinematic?
Legend....
are u the one who rendered designed the 190E AWGE of asap rocky for Need for speed Unbound ???
Having grown up seeing them racing every weekend in DTM on TV or even live at the track, this really hurts... I'm deeply sorry, because I see your effort as well!
I haven't seen them on DTM, but got to love them cuz a neighbour of mine had one of these when I was a kid. Stancing a car like that, restomodding...it basically removes the character for some newage gimmicks.
That's mad yooo
It'd be so dope for him to do a full tutorial on how he does all this black magic
The orange sidelights are no sidelights. These are indicators and essentially for every European road version of a car. So you have to put orange indicators on the sides to keep the original functionality. - If this car was meant to be a homologation model.
