all banter aside dont know what ppl have, theyv been the first time in it for ages and made it closely into the semis so, thats a good start. Here at utd were used to get into CL but for what? to always get kicked out in group stage or ro16 wow, thats not better thats even worse for my taste. The good Teams make it to quarter/semi regularly and then they win it. Be it old regulars like real and bayern or those who freshly won it like LFC and Citeh.

For me the difference between this and the Golden Generation IMO, is these pieces fit better. It's gonna be on the manager to rotate the squad. Sub players and give them the confidence, so when you do actually need them they're ready.

Do these guys know football, they said how do you fit them all in… you don’t have to get them into the 11. You pick your best 11. And the rest need to be ready to impact the game and come in. Euros and World Cup needs everyone to win these competitions. Englands problem has always been they run thier first 11 dry. Big up Jermaine Cole. No doubt Palmer is a baller. However, I worry he's being overhyped. And that's mainly because the expectations of him were very low. On top of that, I don't see any other players carrying mid clubs getting this level of praise. Are Gordon/Isak not carrying Newcastle? Isnt Bowen carrying West Ham? Where's their flowers??
Palmer better than Foden? No way guys. Right now, Foden is the best English player by far. However, we could discuss this if Bellingham would be in good form, which he isn't now.

Anton is spot on at 15:52. The manager needs to leave at least one big name behind. Even as a United fan my pick would be Rashford but he’s the only out and out LW from him and Foden, Palmer, Saka.
For the good of the team you HAVE to pick the people who are the best in their most natural position.

Rashford/grealish Foden/Palmer. Saka/Bowen
the left has two different tactical options - direct vs ball holding. And I think Bowen has done enough to earn his spot.
Unless Saka is also used on the left I don’t see how Rashys going to be dropped. Which means either Bowen or Palmer stays home.
