Rio saying to bring in a coach that coaches young players like ten hag didn’t coach one of the youngest Ajax teams to champions league semi final. Why risk on another when he’s already proved without injuries and second/third choice signings he can win. We have to eventually let a manager get a full transition,not 2/3 players and wonder why team reverts to type. One good one bad season ,just do the third then judge which way it goes. How do you create any type of consistency or coherent long term patterns of play when practically half the team are always out after two or three games. It’s impossible. Rio, Ten Hag is a coach. Out of all the manager's we've had post Fergie, he's actually a coach. All of the problems you've spoke about, all the drama etc have nothing to do with the manager. Changing the manager at this point in time means nothing if that's the only thing that changes. And the fact of the matter is the other issues that need changing are of greater priority than a manager.

For those who insinuate Ten Hag needs to leave needs to watch Klopp’s farewell interview where he clearly spoke of phases in their team evolution when his team could score and could not control games because it required time. He also shares improvements that many did not see during tougher times but the ownership gave him time. He also touched on seasons where they gave it all and the consequences the following year with injuries. Utd fans can’t expect the manager to nurture and give youth a chance and at the same time put so much pressure on the manager. If results are all people want, then we may need to go look at managers like Mourinho.

I agree with Rio about the charges. But he is speaking entirely from the point of view of social media. Social media has already got City convicted simply because they have been charged. In the real world, however, City have not been convicted of anything. When and if they have, people can speak definitively but not until then. The premierleague have preferred so many charges that they themselves are to blame for the delay. If this was a court case, it would take years for defence lawyers to sort them out. The PL should have been aware of this but they were not.
