- Mario Kart Wii might be one of the most popular entry in the franchise, but I always felt like there were too many banana peels, shells, pow blocks and other items. So, here's the crazy idea! What if we tried to complete all 32 tracks in this game without touching a single item box! This means we won't get any item and we'll have to go out of way to dodge those boxes! By the end of the video, you'll have the answer to the following question : Is it possible to beat Mario Kart Wii without touching an item box?

Can you beat Mario Kart without a vehicle
just hack the game where vehicles dont exist they just run
@@pillagerwithinternetaccess Actually there is a glitch where the chosen vehicle doesn't load correctly, resulting in the driving of no vehicle.
But its really hard and I believe you can only do it on 2 player vs.

I played with a wii mote and steering wheel since I bought my wii with the mario kart wii pack
I mean, it's kinda obvious that it's possible. You can always wait for the opponents to clear the way. Sometimes it's possible to go around or between the boxes. Honestly, the video was rather boring to me. I like the no coin challenges much more!
But you can always try out new things, I have no proboem with that ;) Just please don't do any "No Item Boxes in Mario Kart" Challenges anymore.

Dorian that’s not hard considering the fact that no offense to nico but if he did shortcuts that actually are possible without items such as dk summit gap jump then it’d be pretty easy I think he should honestly just stick with platformers as this was rather boring especially when you notice the little things like him playing on 100 cc and not doing any of the cool fun short cuts that really made this game so lovable

I agree, it is soooooo easy to get first place because of how many shroomless shortcuts are in the game. Dodging item boxes is not a big deal at all and playing at 100cc makes it all the more easy. It would have been a little more exciting if he did all Grand Prix or 150cc.

Note: It’s easier with bikes because most if them have narrow hitboxes. I doubt some of these manoeuvres can be done in karts as well.
I only reason Nicobbq (a.k.a No Coin BBQ) makes Mario not dodging coins is because there is no coins in this game

In every DKC game, there's always at least one barrel or something which requires you to touch a bunch of bananas with no way of avoiding them. Maybe a minimum amount of bananas run?

Hard to say. I grew up playing it and it’s probably the most competitive which I like, but Mario kart 8 deluxe is amazing as well. I think it just depends on what you want from a game and I personally prefer MK8D (Except auto steering. I hate auto steering). However they are definitely the two best games in the series.

@@Schwi02 It *_could_* be possible on 50cc, but you'll need the absolute best character/kart combination to do it.

This was an interesting concept. Nice video! How about trying to avoid all item panels in Super Mario Kart? Since they stay on the ground, are kind of hard to spot from a distance, and don't become inactive until a player passes over them, it could make things more challenging. Oh, and of course, do it all while getting 1st place on every track.

Imagine if there were item boxes you couldn’t avoid before the finish line. You’ll be forced to let another driver go in front of you and finish in second place at the most.

You can turn the crazy items down a bit by using basic mode if you want. Oh and this is my favourite Mario kart for one simple reason, Frantic mode is insane. If I ever by some crazy chance get to play with you or NB I will make sure we play that 🙂
The wii was the only device I had as a kid ( except phone ) I played Mario WII a lot as a kid and watching this brings so much nostalgia
