  • Gore Vidal discusses his book, “Lincoln.” Vidal describes Abraham Lincoln’s political character and presidency. He goes on to discuss Mary Lincoln and her relationship with her husband and Mary’s feelings toward slavery. Vidal also discusses his family’s background and their Civil War ties.

      If you haven't done so, please begin with Burr and make your way chronologically through Gore's so- called "Narratives of Empire", ending with Washington DC. You won't be sorry.

    Great archive! But this isn likely 1984-that’s when Lincoln was published.
