Nobody can be mad about sports with exercises called the Happy Disco Cat.
I know right!!
Here comes Saturday night
My back cracked just watching this video
Ive been doing this for years! Never thought it was an actual exercise! Feels amazing especially after a workout
Yeah! I much prefer this over static stretches really
Wow. Ive seen the first part before but never the final part. Brilliant
Thanks to you both. Been carrying stuff around, a bit stiff 😊
Love this move! I saw this on a CZcams yoga teacher a few years back and felt how good it was, still love it but more so now thanks to the name disco cat😂
Fully should have went for the hair flip too! Lol
My back Loves Loves Loves these. ❤
Thank you! Was doing a lot of gardening today and was so stiff! I'm going to disco cat every day now!
Best finish to the day 😎
I'd pay many amounts of money for a cat that would actually do that. Ty for the help, I've been doing up and down but not these kinds of movements
My friends said i look taller today and I put it down to doing this a few times a week. Great little movement
Awesome! Yes just getting rid of tension can make you walk and stand so much freer 💪🏼
Just done it and my back is feeling better and my neck too. Thank you
Wonderful!
I started this after a back injury (?) I felt something go in right lower back while doing squats 3 was ago. It’s only last 3-4 days where I could finally arch it at all. Had severe pain when putting my chin to chest while standing or seated. Slow go but these stretches will be perfect! Love the content you guys put out! Thank you from Vancouver, Canada.
Thanks so much! This would be a good blog to check out!

Groovy I never thought I would have to get back to the Disco at my ripe age😂🎉👍
Always time for the disco! 😎
Nice cat
Y'all are just amazing!! Practical and fun!! Long love DISCO!!🕺🏽💃🏽🪩😆
I explore this movement during cat cow and never knew it was a named thing!
Could you break down the end even further for us uncoordinated lot? Hos do the hip and shoulder circles align (what's doing what during the cat/cow stages)? 😂
best thing to do is get on the floor & start practicing! Set a timer for like 2-5 minutes and have a play - it'll start to click after some practice!
It’s Jenny a rubber band? 😂… thanks for the great Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
You’re very welcome!! Thanks for watching 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Good lord… 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Can do this when my back get better. It's totally seized up right now.
Could try slowly and see how it goes!
Great exercise! Do I hear the Bee Gees in the background??
Probably inspired by it! We can only use copyright free music 😄
Weird Al Yankovic Fitness 👍🏻
😄👍🏻
Thank you I used to have a really flexible spine and I was able to do this well but I have two bulging discs and two herniated discs and I've been experiencing burning and stiffness in my lower spine for 5 months now do you think I should try doing this with the herniations and the burning??
keeping your spine moving is a big part of keeping it healthy! So if you can do some cat/cows that's great, but also don't forget to move your hips (very important for herniated discs!) czcams.com/video/vC5ZDv-bG2o/video.html
@@TomMorrisonthank you I have a hip replacement is this ok to do or not??
I can't do that in the gym, no :)
I'll programme it for home regiment, when alone! lol
hahah yeah definitely one to enjoy at home 🤣
I can't get my cat happy. Just gave it a try.
I weekly do cat camels, thread the needles, but I can't do flexions with ease, stiff as if I was dipped in a cement truck.
Psoas lumborum or Piriformis probs I think.
Poor cat! :)
Is this good for L4 L5 degenerative disc??????
Yep!
Can I still do this exercise if my legs are longer than my arms?
Hopefully
Is this better than Zenith rotations? I'm not having much luck getting a full rotation.
Just a different thing, good warm up for them
@@TomMorrisonwhat are zenith rotations?
Linda Blair presents
My spine is okaaay but my neck hurts doing that. 😔
Have you seen our yes/no exercises yet?
But why she got to move like that tho.
Don’t know what you mean?
@@TomMorrisonYes you do. 😉☺️
That's his lady, ya a$$hat!
Save that $hit for Cardi B and Nikki M. vids.
Dude, that is some moderate NSFW content.
Or am I just too corny? 😅
I really like the exercise though, thanks for the inspiration.
Have a nice weekend, you two.
😂😂😂 it’s definitely more of a “by yourself” one 🤣
Oh! my terrible coordination! haha
Good one to practice daily!!
That position obliterates me knees though
Could do it bent over standing with your hands on your bed or stairs 😄
Look up "the pelvic clock" Feldenkrais method ATM (awareness through movement) lesson and try this first, on your back. If you open up your pelvis first, this will make it MUCH easier on your knees
Tom you stole this move from this other guy on YT that stole it from this other guy on YT who stole it from some Chi-gong guy who stole it from some chinese martial arts guy who stole it from Patanjali who stole it from the Vedas. Also, Teal coloured leggings...come on !!
Everything’s been done before 💪🏼
