    The Hawks were a play-in team and got the number one pick, I think Sarr can move the needle for the Hawks defensively, Sarr does have a mid range, I would like to see what happens when teams challenge Sarr to try to hit 3's, if he can drain them about 30-35 percent his rookie season that would be impressive, I could see possibility a trade of DeJounte Murray and Clint Capela to the Pelicans for Brandon Ingram, Sarr also provides the Hawks with size at 7'1" ,

    These idiots keep hyping up a Trae trade because of his physical appearance, size and stature! No player currently on the rooster can measure up to the stats and records Trae has made, the industry is discriminating against him because of his looks and size! Trae Young’s issue is injuries, can he stay healthy for an entire season without a major injury? Having and maintaining good health is a major challenge for all professional sports players but some athletes are challenged more than others because of various factors, Trae Young doesn’t possess the ideal body structure for the NBA, but he has the mentality and talent of a superstar! So I think the Atlanta Hawks organization needs to keep Trae and together they figure out how he can get some healthy weight on and keep building a strong organization. Trae Young is the most valuable player on the team anyway are you kidding me, if he was 195 lbs plus the industry wouldn’t be creating hype to trade Trae!

    The Hawks need a complete overhaul. I’d start with drafting Sarr and keeping Jaylen Johnson, but everybody else, including Tre, will be tradable. Man, I wish we had kept Luca.

  • @blablablaa14
    @blablablaa14 Před 28 dny +3

    The number 1 pick is no longer a cheap deal. In fact its a really pricey deal. Sarr will get paid 12-13 million in his first year if he's picked first. That's more than the mid level exception and more than what a guy like Herb Jones is getting paid. So its cheaper than Clint's 22 million. But its also a rookie that played in Australia, not exactly the top of international basketball

  • @chaoscarnage9581
    @chaoscarnage9581 Před 2 dny +1

    They literally have the opportunity to get Sarr and Clingan in one night.
    Trade Dejounte and Capela, and Bey, and Hunter, and Okongwu, and get the 2nd overall pick, plus protected future picks, thats enough to get that trade done.
    Trae Young, AJ Griffin, Jalen Johnson, Sarr, and Clingan will be the starting 5. Then cone free agency, they will have enough salary space to fill the other spots
    Bufkin and Mohammed Guy will be on the 2nd string with Bogdanovic. The rest is the rest

    Center wasn’t the problem for the Hawks in the 90s they played in MJ’s era. I would say depth was an issue. The Al Horford Hawks won 60 games and played against LBJ in his prime. They also didn’t have an elite wing. Again center wasn’t an issue for the Hawks. To answer your question I think they should draft Sarr for the size and versatility. However, I would trade Onyeka not Capela. This is the last yeear of Capela at 22 mil. I think they can re-sign him for less than OO

      @bigowiththejam4333 Před 28 dny +2

      Ke'lel Ware reminds me of John Collins. He can block shots and hit the few threes he does take efficiently, but he's not a good perimeter defender, and plus, I heard that he has a rep for poor work ethic. He might be the new Christian Wood. Nobody wants that.

      Massive foot speed increase with Sarr. He can cover 2-5 while Ware couldn't cover most 4's. Sarr has shown improvement every year with his work ethic, ware not so much. Sarr is better, faster and taller than his brother on OKC. No way he doesn't make an impact in the NBA. Sarr played against grown NBA like men and still dominated (but not like Wemby though).

      The Drafting of a Center or athletic big in this draft that can help them now is pure speculation... Shepard is close to what they need especially if he scales up defensively .. The Atlanta hawks problem is the backcourt and the lack of perimeter/stop penetration defense...Tray will always be a defensive liability or picked on because of his size and scoring mentality ... They got to make decisions on the backcourt and get a penetration stopper ... It not going to happen from the draft unless it's a package trade...

    • @DonVaun12
      @DonVaun12 Před 28 dny +1

      @sekeeclarke7476 Sarr needs development. His defense can help now. The front court is an aging center who can't shoot, a 6, 10 center, Bruno, and a sophomore. The backcourt has more talent
