If they have to move DJ or Trae it should be DJ. If Pop didn’t need him to go with Wemby, why would Atlanta. DJ wouldn’t work to LA, they have Russell. He is better off ball with Lebron than DJ. The best young players Atlanta has is Gaye, he’s a 4/5 like Okungwu. Similar to Sarr but stronger. All of them are too small to play the 5. Capela is washed they need a true big. @@atlnla4112 It's not that Gobert is too small, it's that Gobert is a rim protector, he isn't great at man-to-man in general and Jokic scores all over the floor, you don't see Gobert guarding 1 through 5 for that exact reason. Wemby just got named All-First defensive team? How exactly was he being eaten alive? Bam who's a small rim protector was also named to defensive first team. Luckily for small bigs like those guys there aren’t many true bigs in the league. Minnesota had enough bigs to throw at Jokic to beat them, plus Kat decided to play like the big he should be rather than play like a 7 foot small forward. If Edey and Clingan come into the league and are on a team that can coach and use them correctly they’ll be as dominant as Embiid and Jokic. Maybe not MVP caliber but a mid to lower level team would immediately be in playoff contenders.
Hawks must explore the possibilities of this current team with Sarr. A rebuild is not neccesary. Sarr will start at PF. Jalen will play SF. Murray Bogi & Capela are staying. Okongwu is a possible trade. If not that makes them deeper. The coach & GM like this team. Thats why they accepted no trade offers before. The fans will be in an uproar if they dare make a bad trade now.

That's why I'm saying that ATL can't just draft Sarr and make a trade (components still unknown) way before they can be deemed, "scary". Just saying
You watch/read too many popular consensus takes, Sarr probably goes #1 in three of the last seven draft classes and still top four in the last ten classes, people forget that Fultz and Ayton went first, Mobley went third in Cade's class, Sarr has a higher ceiling than Mobley.
CC, Bogdan and AJ for BI and Dyson Daniels
Herb Jones
@@fromisgunner from what hear he's not on the table like DJ
@fromisgunner I'd take Herb over BI, I hear Nola wants to move BI and Nance or BI and Dyson Daniels, ATL needs to move CC and Bogdan I think they'll throw in AJ to make a deal, I'd take BI and Dyson Daniels for CC, Bogdan and AJ win win for both team's, the numbers match
@@jamesedwards7946 How is that a win for the Pels though? Main thing they need is a lead guard. Not a backup center in CC because they already have Valuncinas. Not Bogdan because they already have an elite shooter in Jordan Hawkins who is younger, better defender, and cheaper. Not a great trade for them at all
Keep DJ. Trade Trae
Lebron.
James son and get lebron
If they have to move DJ or Trae it should be DJ. If Pop didn’t need him to go with Wemby, why would Atlanta. DJ wouldn’t work to LA, they have Russell. He is better off ball with Lebron than DJ. The best young players Atlanta has is Gaye, he’s a 4/5 like Okungwu. Similar to Sarr but stronger. All of them are too small to play the 5. Capela is washed they need a true big. Their biggest weakness is defense. Just like all other skinny bigs Sarr won’t show value till 3 or 4 yrs.
Sarr is most definitely not a skinny big
@@SoggySports 7 plus at 224 that’s a skinny big. That’s Gobert, Chet, Wemby and all those other skinny guys that get eaten alive by the few true bigs in the league. That’s why Kat has to guard Jokic and not Gobert. Gobert is too small.
Where are these "true bigs" you're saying eat these guys alive? Jokic does his thing against everyone, he dropped 30 and 19 on KAT.
@@dontreadmyprofilepicture8817 Gobert is an off ball defender because he can’t play against true bigs. Luckily there aren’t many in the game. So a guy like Wemby who can be the same (an off ball defender, getting blocks contesting 3’s and jumpers). But a guy like Jokic and Embiid kill them (Embiid 70 against Wemby).
Atl draft bronie number 1
Their not scary this organization get moment but never long term
Hawks must explore the possibilities of this current team with Sarr. A rebuild is not neccesary. Sarr will start at PF. Jalen will play SF. They're still young & exciting & deep without making bad trades. Murray proved he can score 30 or 40 any given night. Bogi too. They're better than Ingram, Reeves & Rui. Murray Bogi & Capela are staying. Okongwu is a possible trade. If not that makes them deeper. The coach & GM like this team. Thats why they accepted no trade offers before. The fans will be in an uproar if they dare make a bad trade now.
Facts I see the vision Bro. That starting Lineup of Trae, Murray, Jalen, Sarr, Okongwu would be explosive offensively and defensively. Then you got Hunter coming off the bench who showed he can excel in that role when he can be the focal point of the second unit. All we need is solid veterans to fill out the roster
Austin reaves is terrible
All the Hawks have to do is trade for a 2nd round pick with players from other teams, draft Bronny James to Bring King 👑 James to Town so the city 🌆 can catch on fire! 🔥
Atlanta Hawks Trade DeAndre Hunter Saddiq Bey To Phoenix Suns For Bol Bol Center Udoka Azubuike 6foot11 weight 270 23 years old 2024 2025 First round draft picks Atlanta Hawks Trade Clint capela Bogdan bogdanovic To Lakers For Christian Woods Jarred Vanderbilt Atlanta Hawks Receive 2024 first round draft pick From Lakers Atlanta Hawks Trade onyeka Okongwu AJ Griffin Bruno Fernando To Orlando Magic for Small Forward/ power Forward Jonathan Isaac Point Guard Anthony Black Atlanta Hawks pick up Power Forward/ Center Christian koloko from free agency Atlanta hawks New Head Coaches Canadians Mark Jackson are Sam cassell
What's scary about them? Oh I know mediocrity is scary
A potential 2 suoerstar and allstar trio of sarr, jalen, trae with tons of room for improvement after dj and capela trades
@@SoggySports Trae is a star(all star) but Jalen is good, sarr is a maybe/maybe not. DJ would be better to build around then Trae. 1: he's cheaper, 2: he plays defense and doesn't have a ego. But either way the chances of a championship are slim to none
@@SoggySports a true superstar is an MVP contender, top 10 players. No hawk has been that since Dominique
@@SoggySports the hawks best bet is to find takers for Hunter and capelas salary, hopefully nothing coming back except picks. Trade Trae to SA for vassel or Johnson and #4 our 25 and 27 draft picks back. That way they have enough $ for a Max player plus 2 top 4 picks this year and two 1st rounders next year. So they could easily reset or contend. But with the front office they have they will screw it up
Youngs defense loses you more games than his offense wins you . Instead of becoming off ball, he doubled down, will get multiple coaches fired and maybe a Gm , and there’s no serious offer for Young that is worth it . An ugly divorce from Atl is coming , he’ll never sniff a #1 role again, and in 3 years will be forced to either learn off-ball play or learn Chinese or both . The doncic trade will go down as one of the worst draft day moves in sports history . Mark it down .
I wish it wasn’t but Young is a p&r stud w/ range when he’s hot. Easy to scheme against Trae late season (when he’s also gassed & nursing injuries every year).
His failure to integrate w/ Murray is a permanent stain . Hawks need to move on from Young & capela & take anything they can get . As storied & successful as Atl’s baseball management is, it’s inept & flailing in NFL/NBA. Can you imagine how they’ll botch an NHL franchise again . LOL. 😂
Jalen Johnson is just John collins trae makes him look good
Nah... they are first round exit at best next season.
Please stop talking so fast
DJ got to go
