- Unboxing the Xiaomi Mi 11, a fresh 2021 flagship smartphone boasting Snapdragon 888 smarts and a 108MP camera. I've already reviewed this mighty mobile but here's a tour of the specs, MiUI 12 launcher, best features and camera tech. The Mi 11 is one of the first flagship phones launched in 2021, so of course it's one of the best around right now. That SD888 platform means gaming on anything, including Genshin Impact, is a breeze. Xiaomi's Quad HD screen is crisp and boasts beautiful contrast, even if it's not quite as gorgeous as Samsung's Dynamic AMOLED rival. And the battery life is also solid, offering a full day of use no matter how hardcore you take it.
I also like the Xiaomi Mi 11's triple lens rear camera, despite its lack of telephoto smarts. You can capture great looking everyday photos and up to 8K resolution home movies, easy.

Yeah, I don't like him neither, because he is not objective and has no idea about specs, honest testing or even audio quality. He just loves to loudly vocalize like a low-class American teenager ... even though he is Canadian and wealthy and a grown up. I find your opinions much more useful.
Hi Chris, first of all I love your vids and always look out for notifications that you've uploaded a new one. I 'm asking for some help, please. At 70, I'm not all that great on t'internet and would be really grateful if you could point me in the right direction. I really like the look of the Xiaomi Mi 11. I've seen chinese versions, with google play installed, for sale in a couple of online shops, but I'd prefer to buy the UK version, if there is such a thing! Just got this phone . Did a lot of research and it's absolutely fantastic! Had the Google pro 6 for 2 days and hated it so sent back! Got this and no regrets at all 10/10

Always? Too bad this is the first time I saw it.
Some people say the camera module is not good looking. But I like it very much. I think it gives character to the main lense, emphasizing it. The multi color back and leather version of it makes this phone very charming. This is the first xiaomi phone I like the design of it very much. I just hope the front punch hole is in the center, enhancing its aesthetic. Put my hand on this phone last week, gonna say the display is super large, and the operation is smooth like a butter thanks to 888 dragon chip.

Chris, many say notifications disappear or don't show up regularly with MIUI. Could you do a MIUI video investigating this sort of stuff?
Sadly it's a software problem that has never been fixed-and will likely never be fixed. MIUI is overly aggressive on managing applications.
This is exactly the review I was waiting for. Now if you can do a comparison of this and the 11 pro and ultra, if they ever get released here in the 🇬🇧, that would be great before I purchase a new phone.

Just a huge fan of Xiaomi ever since I learned how to pronounce it properly, and after years of being super happy with Redmi and Huami products, the Mi 11 is my only hope of my wife complementing about the shiny monster in my hand! Not sure that she’ll be impressed that it changes colour though. Thing is, AliExpress sells it but I’ll have grown another chin before I get one delivered here to Blighty. Any ideas about how to get one sooner?
