Dix Range Part 2 - Hough Peak And Dix Mountain | Adirondack Hiking

Hiking Hough Peak and Dix Mountain in the Adirondacks Mountains of New York!!
We start out by hiking from Upper Elk Parking to where we make camp at the sites by Lillian Brook. After camp was set up we headed off to get Hough Peak . We went up and back down the Lillian brook herd path for Hough peak. The next day we stayed around camp because the forecast called for heavy rain ( which never came). On our final day we hiked Dix Mountain via the Beckhorn trail under beautiful blue skies. Hough peak via lillian brook was a pretty decent trail with ok views. Dix via the Beckhorn I would say is probably one the most beautiful trails in the 46 with phenomenal views going up and even better once you break treeline.
